The most nearest place for Bumrungrad hospital

If you are the first time medical check up to Bumrungrad,you should choose sara inn coz it is next to hospital. But need 15 mins walk to BTS. Friendly & helpful staffs are always welcome you. Rooms are not small, even dining room included. 24 hours high speed wifi. But a little expensive(1500B per night). Some water tap in bath room are not work very well,need to repair them. Yes,bath rooms are clean for me.

Form Follows Function

Sara Inn is an ideal hotel for Bumrungrad International Hospital outpatients and/or family and friends visiting admitted patients. Situated on a narrow alley directly behind the hospital, it takes only a minute or two to walk from the hotel to the hospital. Taxis are readily available to take you beyond the medical campus or, if you fancy a safe walk (complete with sidewalks and pedestrian crossings) you can hop on the Sky Train at Ploenchit.
ATMs, currency exchange stations, cafes, and restaurants are all within walking distance and quite a few restaurants beyond walking distance will deliver to Sara Inn - just place your order online via FoodPanda.
The hotel itself is no frills but comfortable and serviceable. My room had a king bed, a refrigerator, an efficiency kitchen complete with sink, dishware, silverware, and an electric kettle. You can purchase beverages from the mini bar but with so many 7-11s around why would you? Plus they have free water on the ground floor. The bathroom was standard: shower with tub, plushy towels, toilet, and sink. The water didn't get quite hot enough for me but it was warm enough. Basic toiletries are also provided: shampoo, soap, shower cap - but again, if you're missing anything just step out side and round a corner or two and you'll run into a 7-11.
The AC worked well but I appreciated having a window that I could open with a screen to keep the mosquitoes and pigeons out. The view isn't much as it looks out onto the back of the hospital - a 21 floor khaki cataract that blots out even the sun most of the time.
Staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. They'll clean the room daily if you want them to but I opted for every other day and they're were fine with that.
All in all, if I had to come here again I would be happy to stay here and I'd recommend it to other visitors looking for a simple, functional, and convenient lodging.

Good for people who visit Bumrungrad Hospital

Very near to the hospital. Just across the street. If you go out to the city you can get a taxi back to Sara Inn just by asking for Bumrungrad Hospital. The staff are nice but the rooms are not so comfortable. Fair price.

Sheer convenience for Hospital visitors

This was my third or fourth visit to Sara and till date, it's the most conveniently located space for Bumrungrad international outpatients without pinching your pocket any deeper. Basic amenities but very clean. In fact, room & shower facilities seem a lot cleaner than my last visit 3 years ago.
Free wifi too with good speed.
Beds are ok, but pillows are quite hard. Oddly, for a room with a kitchenette this has no hot water boiler. The staff will tell you to collect hot water from the reception are in the flask provided in the room!
Money exchanger right outside the hotel which comes in super handy for hospital bills. Taxis are very easy to find and hoards of dining options outside hospital complex apart from the ones located within the complex.

Handy for hospital visitors

Those who come for medical reason in Bangkok, particularly to Bumrungrad hospital, it is very convenient for them to stay at Sara Inn which is just a few steps away next to the hospital. The rooms are small with practically no view. I found the rooms also to be clean. Some basic things like plate, glasses, bowls, tea pots and cups were available in the room. Take away food can be brought and consume there. All the hotels located in that road adjacent to the hospital do not have any views. They are blocked because of the close proximity of the buildings next to each other. The only reason to stay here is to be close to the hospital. There is free internet connection but slow. Lots of restaurants are near by and particularly those who come from South East Asian countries, it is the best place to get their own country food. There are several very good Bangladeshi restaurants around the hospital also. Sara Inn is definitely a practical hotel which is affordable and closest to the hospital to avoid horrendous traffic jam of Bangkok.
