If you are going to Venice, I would highly recommend Ca’ Della Corte.
This historic hotel is run by a family with soul, warmth and genuine care for its guests. The rooms are more than just rooms – they are filled with details, history and atmosphere that set the imagination and dreams in motion.
Everything is carefully thought out and put together with love, characterized by the staff’s colorful personalities and sincere care. Here, both the soul, thoughts and worries can rest.
Thank you for unforgettable days in beautiful surroundings. This is a place I will carry with me for a long time.

Disappointing stay after unexpected change to apartment
We originally booked a hotel room, but were informed by email the day before arrival that, due to a pipe burst, we would instead be accommodated in an apartment. Photos of the damage were included in the email; however, it was quite obvious that the pictures were old and not recent.
The apartment itself was spacious and conveniently located, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below hotel standards. The apartment was dusty, the dishes were dirty, and the balcony had clearly not been cleaned for some time. In the smaller bedroom, there was also mold visible on the wall, which was particularly concerning.
In addition, no daily cleaning service was offered or even mentioned, despite this being standard for a hotel stay. We were told that the cleaning staff was sick, which was given as the reason for the lack of service. During our entire stay, the apartment was only cleaned once on the last day, and even then only superficially.
Overall, the experience felt disappointing and poorly managed, especially considering we did not receive the hotel accommodation and service we originally booked and paid for.

A home away from home with hosts who care
My eight day stay with my partner followed a strenuous book tour through France, Germany and Austria which left me exhausted. I looked forward to staying at the Ca Della Corte, which had been highly praised by a colleague. Although we are still here enjoying the charm and comfort it offers, the praise does not do full justice to this hotel. Let me put it simply: it's a gem! Rarely does one find such a combination of unusual decor, helpful hosts, variety of breakfast offerings. One could write paragraphs on each of these. The effect would be to express my intention of returning to Ca Della whenever I return to Venice.

Lovely stay at this cozy boutique hotel
I had such a lovely 3-night stay at this boutique hotel! My room was on the top floor, it was a standard room, but both the bedroom and bathroom were surprisingly spacious and still felt cozy, with beautiful traditional Venetian furniture. The hotel has a charming, authentic Venetian atmosphere that I absolutely loved. Also it is so close to the train station and walkable to all the touristy spots. The manager Kate, was very helpful and always responded to my requests quickly. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone visiting Venice!

A piece of Venetian heart
We just left this lovely b&b, located a stone's throw from Piazzale Roma (convenient for those arriving by car) and with about 20 min walk you get to St. Mark's Square. Welcoming, attention and cleanliness surround you from the first moment. All the furnishings smell of that authentic and unique Venice that you do not expect. Rich breakfast that responds to any request served by a sweet lady. But what makes this place unique is the sense of hospitality of the owner Kate and her son Niccolò... two Venetians doc that through stories and advice allow you to understand and appreciate this wonderful city! When dedication and thoughtfulness combine with education and culture you can only leave a piece of heart here... with the promise of returning soon... because Ca' della Corte becomes a refuge for young and old ❤️
