Friendly and Quiet

I stayed at the Bootshaus for one week at the beginning of the slow season. It was very quiet and the staff is extremely friendly. The owner is German so the restaurant menu has a lot of German cuisine as well as Thai and other types of food. There was even a nice semi-auto motorbike I was able to rent for the week directly from the hotel, which is a great way to explore the island. The room was like a small apartment, which is exactly what I was looking for. Since I was traveling solo, I had hoped it would be a little more lively, but I think that comes with the slow travel season. I would definitely reccommend Bootshaus if you're traveling with a friend. It's a very comfortable place to stay.

Fantastic small Apartments with a unique room service.

The Bootshaus is a small family owned "Resort". The Bootshaus consists of 3 Buildings. Two buildings with the apartments, which are double room apartments. The are including a living room with small kitchen area, Sleeping room with Aircon and a bathroom. Each apartment has a small Balcony in front of it. It is very quiet there, because it is apporx 100 meter away from the road towards inland. The Bootshaus has a small Restaurant with exelant German and Thai food. You can get Schnitzel, Pizza, Burgers when you like western food and amazing thai food. My favorite dish is the Thai Curry with chicken, steam rice and a fride egg. The unique room service comes form the staff. When they clean the room and change blankets/ towels, they also fold up your cloths and seal open crisps bags. Everything will have a place at the end.
The owner is a german man living in Thailand since 1985. What ever help you need on the island, he can help you out. He is very entertaining and it is fun to talk with him. If you miss german TV, there is always a series running on the screen in the background. For me it is a real secret on the island.

Best German food ever!

If you're craving German food then go to Bootshaus. We had duckbreast, schnitzel, cordon blue, currywurst, bratwurst and their amazing Sauerkraut! We went there quite often, the food is just excellent. The staff is so lovely, great service <3

Perfect!!!!!!!

We have spent in this hotel 10 wonderful days and everything was just perfect! Room, food, service, personell - all just awesome! I am really thankful for this splendid holiday, that these guys made for us

Great german food

We've seen the sign of the restaurant at Long Beach road and decided to give it a try. What a great surprise! The service is welcoming, the restaurant is cozy, in the middle of a small jungle and the food is excellent. We had german food, schnitzel and roast pork and it was delicious, well served - the sauerkraut was really, really good. Also, beer come in a thermo cover to keep it chilly. Very good place, we'll come back.
