Great long weekend in Grindelwald
The chalet is very nice and specious. Three bedrooms of which we used 2 (we were 2 couples).
The place is up to date, clean and looks new. The views from the chalet are beautiful, the Eager, and Grindelwald. Trails are starting from the chalet and the local bus stop next to the chalet.
The chalet is about 2km from the center of Grindelwald. We rented a car so it was not a problem, otherwise it might be less convenient.
For an extra 20CHF we got wireless internet.
The only think I would change is to have some basic things in the chalet: salt, sugar, maybe some fruits to welcome the new guests. Soap and shampoo. Extra garbage bags.

Nice place, really poor management
Firstly, there are many rules and regulations that you are notified of when you book, some involving high penalty charges for non-compliance. One of these is that you must check in within a 2-hour window on the day of arrival. So we made every effort to comply, and arrived in good time, only to find on arrival that no-one from the management was there at the property.
Additional charges to stay at the property included: cleaning at 110 Swiss Francs (although the cleaning was only done after we'd left ...), and 20 Francs for WIFI. One toilet roll was provided for the week and there was no change of towels.
We were also surprised when we were obliged to pay for the owner's bank charges (relating to the payment of our week's stay). Despite the chalet's regulations being extensive and detailed, there was nothing relating to the client having to pay these charges. It was notable, but not unsurprising, that the owner/manager did not make himself available to meet with us during our stay to discuss this matter. After we left Chalet Spinne, it was confirmed through our booking agent that we should not have been charged, however, until now (6 weeks later) the money has not been reimbursed to us, and there seems little chance that it will be.
