A Velence történelmi központjában épült Cà Del Dose szálloda a Szent Márk tértől 5 perces sétára fekszik. A szálláshely elegáns szobákat kínál ingyenes wifivel, arany fejtámlákkal és muránói üvegből készült lámpákkal.

An intimate and very pleasant experience
We had a great time
We were welcomed by Mrs. Elena, who was very nice, helpful, and clear.
The room was very nice and clean.

Great Location
Great location and very close to water taxi. Great restaurants in the area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and on the firmer side.Our room had a large terrace.
Ok for a 2 night stay. Many stairs.
Good value for money for Venice. .

To flee in summer
Cold and minimal welcome (“you know what that is?!” she tells us, pointing at the doorbell because we had knocked).
Impossible sleep: stifling heat from the room (32 degrees on the third floor and 30 on the second), inefficient and deafening clime (a fighter plane). Of course, the hotelier ensures that we do not activate the Air Conditioning during the day to temper the room so arrival at the room in the evening is suffocating.
If there is a good point, it is the location, as well as the restaurant next door.
We strongly discourage this accommodation for the elderly and infants.
Of course, as loaded with luggage as we could be, the hotelier who is 50 cm from the door does not bother to open it or say goodbye.

Wonderful experience, everything 10 and praise.
5 stars is also not enough, for these managers of the "ca del dose" excellent place for cleanliness, availability, seriousness, politeness, central point, they were two wonderful days, Mrs. Elena polite and kind, Mr. Lorenzo very kind and polite, we will return with great pleasure... see you soon!

The 2nd Worst Hotel in Europe
This is the 2nd worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I'm 61!
I wouldn't bother to write this review at all if booking.com hadn't advertised the property as having working air conditioning, but two nights without sleep tends to ruin a holiday.
I will, however, start with the positives. The location of Ca del Dose is excellent - halfway between Arsonale and St Mark's Square could not be better, even though it is in dingy side street, up 5 flights of stairs, overlooking lots of other rundown properties, all with the faded shutters closed. The price was also very reasonable, comparative to accommodation costs in the UK.
The negatives, however, outweigh the positives. The noisy, rattling and dirty air con unit in the small room failed to get the temperature inside below 27C, even though the outside temperature never exceeded 30C, (and we tried every setting available on the unit.) Perhaps you can sleep in that, but we couldn't. The advertised fridge would be best described as a chiller unit, as the drinks we kept in it never felt much cooler than the room. One handle was missing from the mdf wardrobe, (if you can call it that), making it very difficult to open and breaking my wife's nails. The toilet was brown below the water line - why couldn't they use limescale remover? The sealant in the shower unit was also mouldy, and it should have been changed years ago. The fixings for the shower head were so loose that we could only shower by holding the shower head in one hand and trying to wash with the other.
This list is not exhaustive, as this poor standard of maintenance makes cleaning to a reasonable standard almost impossible and, to be be fair, we only complained to the hotelier about the air conditioning unit. She berated us for leaving the unit on when we went out, and pointed to the target temperature saying "see, it is 16C in here, this is cold!" What could we say in the light of such ignorance? I just showed her my own thermometer and explained that we could not sleep in such conditions.
I just hope that booking.com take this property off their listing as the facilities that Ca del Dose advertise have clearly not been maintained and are no longer functioning.
To end on a good note, we are now in Lake Garda in excellent accommodation and a positive review will follow.
