Great place to stay.

We stayed there for one night. The location is perfect. Room was comfortable and clean. Friendly owner. Do not trust gps, use your head and you will find it. Only indicator is a small sign on the bell button.

Good benefits against costs

Comfort and calm location, wide rooms for families, kitchen and dining facilities, but the bath is shared. Nice administrator woman and so helpful for guests. no elevator indeed, but you can leave your bigger stuff safe at the entrance. location is great just 5 mins from St Marco and also surrounded by many service points; restaurants, cafes..etc

Great location, poor service

One you find it, you discover it is in a great location. My room was clean when I arrived but that was the last time it received a tidying. in 6 days the garbage was not emptied, my towels were never refreshed, the bed never made and the floor never swept. The single bathroom that 3 rooms (6+ people) had to share was not cleaned for the first 3 days i was there,and there was only one bathmat for all of us. It was sopping wet and each time I had to use the shower, I needed to remove the clogged hairtrap over the drain in order for the water to escape. it was disgusting. I ended up using one of my towels as a bathmat as the one provided was dripping, wet day and night. The hostess was abrupt, surly and could barely bring herself to speak with any of the guests, ever. At breakfast (long before checkout time, even) she made sure to tell whomever was checking out that morning that she needed them out 'right away.' Breakfast was bread, croissants, juice, yogurt (sometimes only 3 yogurt containers were put out for 4 people) and coffee (very sparingly distributed); fairly typical breakfast fare for italy, but not typical service. I was relieved to leave and I would never stay at this B&B again and would not recommend it to anyone.

bad experience

This was our first experience with b&b. It was high season in Venice,so it was hard to find a place for a good price. This b&b had good reviews and even "tripadvisor" sticker on it. The location was very nice,a bit hard to find though, but everyone on the street was very helpfull. First of all the host Paola was very unwelcoming,made us very uncomfortable as if we were not paying, but just staying in her place. The breakfst was very poor. She actually served us three joghurts for 4 people! Couple pieces of toast and a croissant-that was it. She cooked each a cup of coffee herself, making sure no one could have two cups.There was not enough place at the table for all the guests. The bathroom was not cleaned properly

4 dagen Venetië

We, ik en mijn 2 zonen, hebben er 4 nachten verbleven.
Goed gelegen, redelijk centraal om heel wat van Venetië te zien.
In rustig, steegje dat doodloopt op kanaaltje, in levendige buurt.
Paola en Paola zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Mooie, zeer ruime kamer.
Heel aangenaam, huiselijke sfeer met gedeelde badkamer, salon, terras.
