The owners pay attention to details and are very helpful .
The breakfast is a feast including fresh egg with shaved truffle. The dinner menu Is simple and fresh truffle can be included with every dish at a reasonable cost. The desert have a local flavor. There is very reasonable and diversified local wine selection to choose from.
Since the owner is a truffle hunter you can purchase direct at the source and save a bundle
I am sorry that I had to cancel my Oct.2020 plans due to covid-19 .
I am looking forward to October 2021 and my return return visit.

Comfortable B&B with truffle hunting and truffle restaurant
The view from the breakfast area (which is also the restaurant) is gorgeous. You also get to enjoy eggs with truffles during the truffle season.
The hosts are owners of a nearby forest where they conduct their truffle-hunting tours.
Rooms are decently sized. Bathroom is a little small. We were there in November, and the room can get quite cold, even with the heating turned on. You get a small bottle of shampoo and bath gel, bring your own if you are more particular.
All in all, peaceful, great view and quite comfortable for a very decent room rate.

Stay here if intended to experience truffle hunting
We stayed in the yellow room, with closet, tv (a crt) and a small fridge with cool drinks; has a long private terrace perfect for a smoking minute and very narrowed full bathroom complete of toiletries; everything nice but nothing particularly special.
Breakfast is served at the restaurant downstairs; is buffet style complete of everything: toaster, juice squeezer, the classics (salami and cheese cuts, baking products, marmelades, honey, cereals, coffee, tea etc.) If want to have some truffle at breakfast, they serve (if wanted) a poached egg with some truffle shaves, really good.
For a truffle hunting tour is necessary to book in advance since there are outsiders also interested in truffle hunting. Truffle hunting is done mainly in their lands; is a family with long truffling tradition.
