Happy choice hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and tidy. Very good service feels like you're among people you know well. Its excellent location is close to a human square and the beautiful Mar Saba Basilica.

Hotel Chbat in Bcharre

Hotel Chbat is the most luxurious hotel in Bcharre, with suites overlooking the valley, a rooftop pool, and an upscale restaurant. The hotel's amenities are all modern and the views from the valley facing rooms are nothing short of spectacular.

Interesting location but average breakfast

Hotel Chbat is a ski hotel in Qadisha valley and is well set up for large groups and multi occupancy rooms. We stayed here as a last minute change of accommodation on a tour and were. I experienced a power cut while in the shower which was awkward as the shower is over a half bath with a steep step so I didn’t dare move, thankfully it was only a couple of minutes. The wifi was free and worked very well on the huge terrace and dining room but not so well in the bedroom. It looks a little shabby but as they were probably closed until the ski season they did their best to accommodate our group and the evening meal was delicious. Sadly breakfast was not good, very very limited in choice, no breads or pastries, no fruit (yet we had 4 different types of fruit at dinner the previous evening), no juice or yoghurt. Jams served with only pitta bread which was not very appetising. Lots of steps down an unmarked staircase to the street and then straight onto the main road which was not ideal

Adorable

So sweet clean cosy i like this place the owner are lovely nd its safe place and the pool hotel rooms all have a wonderful view and also they have gim and swimming pool and a delicious food i like this hotel

Average Hotel

I stayed at Chbat 3 nights. The first night I was the only guest in the whole hotel. The staff is really friendly. The owner was very helpful at arranging a driver to explore the amazing Qadisha Valley. Breakfast (included in the price) was excellent. The staff prepared a lunch for me to take away when hiking (2 lunches = 24000 Lebanese pounds).
The room (with en-suite bathroom) was clean but old: Old carpet, old TV, old furniture. Both room and bathroom need some refurbishment. The view from the window is wonderful.
Internet: There's no Wifi in rooms. Only in reception area and paying 10 USD for 24 hours internet service. Travelling on my own, being the only guest in the hotel my first night and with no internet connection made me feel a bit isolated. Definitely this is an overpriced hotel. The staff suggested me to have dinner in their restaurant, but my priority then was to find a bar / restaurant with wifi which I found in Makhlouf, just down the road by the junction.
Wondering around Bcharre's streets I discovered Hotel Palace, which I considered to book before travelling to Lebanon but in the end I didn't due to lack of recent reviews in tripadvisor. Well: it is still open and running. The owner showed me a room. The idea of moving there crossed my mind but I decided not to do it as I already paid my whole stay in Chbat, but It is more modern, well located, cheaper and better option than Chbat... and with internet in rooms.
