Glamp Camp
Located in Waterborough, this campground is near the beach. Anthony Flower House Museum & Gallery and Orange Hall Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Fanjoys Point Lighthouse and Hendry Farm Lighthouse. This campground features free self parking. The accommodation boasts a fireplace and offers a kitchenette and a private yard. Guests can appreciate conveniences like a microwave and a kitchen island, and other amenities include a stovetop and Egyptian cotton sheets. Housekeeping is available on request. This campground offers 2 air-conditioned accommodations with fireplaces and bathrobes. Beds feature Egyptian cotton sheets and premium bedding. Kitchenettes offer stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include bathtubs or showers. Change of towels and change of bedsheets can be requested. Quiet, relaxing, and care-free
We had some cooler weather and the domes have several interior heating options (mini split, pellet stove, and portable heaters). They had the wood-fired hot tub heated up for us prior to arrival (nice touch!). Bed was comfortable and kitchenette had sufficient utensils & glassware. We made use of the mini fridge, cooktop, and microwave.
While the bathroom has a wall partition separating it from the rest of the dome, we would have preferred a door that we could close for privacy however this is not an issue that would prevent us from returning. The finishing touches throughout the dome are basic compared to a higher-end vibe at some competitor domes.
Overall we stand by our 5-star rating and would absolutely recommend this place to friends.

Poorly Maintained.
Jump ahead to this year we had booked October 4th to the 6th and were really looking forward to getting away and relaxing again. Upon check in, which was sketchy and I don't remember it being that way the first time, we drove out to the "Log Cabin" dome and immediately we noticed a really foul smell and still don't know what it was but possibly Marijuana smoke by a previous guest? The next thing we noticed was the dome had ripped at the top skylight and was duct taped, but the duct tape was hanging. At this point we said, "No big Deal" we will still have a good weekend. We unpacked and went out to BBQ. The yard was not well kept at all. I think there was a sign there at one point and it was gone, the BBQ was in bad shape and had to be levelled with rocks and the Hot tub that we paid an extra $80 for was a total bust. Very dirty, a poorly home made cover made from plywood with a piano hinge and full of worms and pine needles. They did leave a kitchen strainer to scoop it out but it was too gross to even think about getting in. It would not have happened anyway as the temperature never did get warm enough to enjoy it and they had started the fire before we got there and I added wood twice. We also paid and extra $30 for wood and noticed there was a full wood rack for our use. not sure if they lock it up if you don't pay for wood? Maybe burned 5 pieces and it was all pretty rotten dead wood, probably blow downs from previous seasons. Once inside for night 1 my wife had a shower and I put on a robe. The robe would be too small for an average kid let alone a grown adult. I tried the second robe and it was the same size. This confused me as it was 2 adults on the reservation, but at this point we were not going to be wearing robes. While showering the hot water ran out on my wife. She was stuck trying to rinse the shampoo from her hair in freezing cold water. We had previously done dishes for less than 3-4 minutes and she showered for maybe 5 minutes. The hot water heater looks new but sure didn't act like it. We decided that we should leave the next morning and opt out of the second night. When we left at 10:30am we stopped to let them know we were leaving and there was no one there. I believe when the last registered guest checks in the person working leaves and I am not sure when they come back in the next day but on this day it was not before 10:30am. We hid the key. I have since called their phone number, emailed the booking email twice, sent them a message on Facebook and also a message on their Website. Unfortunately I have not heard back from anyone regarding my stay so I thought I would share this so you don't waste your money like I did. $584.20 that I could have used elsewhere.
I also wanted to point out that I have never given a bad review in my life. I worked in hospitality for 20 years and hated reviews as people have different expectations etc, but wanted to let people know there are better options.
