Different kind of hotel experience as we’ve never stayed in a conference centre type of place but it was really nice. The room was cute and quaint and the bed was pretty comfy. Buffet breakfast was delicious, good selection of options to choose from.

Unfortunately, the staff in the Jetset pub were rude. We were greeted by the host, with a snob attitude “do you have reservations”. We were seated in a crowded and noisy area of the pub. We could hear everyone’s conversation. After being seated, we waited 25 minutes and still had not been served our drinks. We walked out. The TV is cable with limited channels. Our room was clean. The grounds and property is beautiful. Our stay was otherwise relaxing.

Room was small but efficient and clean. Loved the grounds of the facility and all the available public sitting spaces inside and outside. Having 2 restaurants to choose from was nice and food at the pub was great. Loved that there was direct access from hotel to a walking/cycling path along the river. Didn’t use the pool but it was equipped with a lifeguard. Fitness centre was nicely equipped too.

Outstanding property that was a very nice surprise when we checked in.
Check in clerk was efficient, friendly and professional. He explained everything needed and was ready for all other questions.
Very clean room.
We booked a double queen room, which turned out to be a two room suite with separate ensuites

Staff was GREAT but Pub food not good

We stayed for the weekend at the Dev Centre and had a wonderful overall experience.
The service we received from Jessica at front desk was outstanding. She was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel well taken care of from the moment we arrived.
On Saturday, we had breakfast and lunch at the Propeller. Breakfast was the typical hotel buffet and was good, with a nice selection. Lunch, however, was exceptional! The Chinese buffet was better than many Chinese buffet restaurants we've visited. The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The service was excellent, and the Sous Chef, Paul, took the time to answer our questions and ensure everything was to our liking. Thank you, Paul—you were amazing!
The only disappointment was dinner at the Jetset Pub. The service was just okay, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The kids' chicken tenders were overcooked, and the fries were very dry. We both ordered burgers, and they were also overcooked and quite hard. We've eaten there before and had a great meal, so this was surprising and hopefully just an off night.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We hope the Jetset Pub can get back to the quality we've experienced there in the past.
