HOT , TOO MANY STAIRS, but affordable and city center

The AC did not work at all in our room and it was very hot. Additionally, they never sent us instructions on how to find or enter our room, I had to call day of and my check in process was very delayed even though I submitted my pre check in paperwork beforehand. Also, this place is on like the 5th floor, wayy too many stairs and the stairwell is very old and sketchy looking. My room didn’t even have a view of the ocean at all. The price of this place was fine, no complaints there but overall the customer service was not very good

Not really worthy of a 4-star hotel

We stayed 4 nights and 5 days in this hotel.
The room: there was no passage during these 5 days, even to empty the overflowing garbage can or to change the towels. We ran out of toilet paper and no one came back despite our request. The ad said we would have bathrobes and slippers but we didn't have one. A cabinet door was broken and the curtain was not blackout. The positives of the room are the very good bedding, spacious shower, soundproofing and large TV. Friendly Welcoming on arrival.
Location: well located, right in the city center, facing the harbor; however, it is on the 4th floor, without elevator, but above all, it is not indicated anywhere downstairs, that a hotel is located here which is a little destabilizing upon arrival.
Breakfast: It is taken in a cafe near the hotel. There is very little choice and almost only salt. 5 out of 6 dishes contain egg. What if someone is allergic to it? For a hotel breakfast, it's too little varied, not even hot chocolate. It is a pity that this is not specified beforehand. There was also an insect in our salad. Welcoming is a little cold in this restaurant.
