GREAT STAY
Just returned from a fab 4 night stay in the top floor apartment at Top Centar. The apartment was exactly as described. A great size for 2. Good wifi, good sized shower, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed & pillows!! These are old buildings and so if on the top floor, yes there are a number of stairs and yes there may be a little noise if your neighbour is loud (which can happen anywhere), but considering the fabulous location it is very peaceful of a night and we had no trouble sleeping whatsoever, You are within the walls of the Palace and so central to lots of shops, cafes, bars etc., and less than a minutes walk to the Riva. Our hosts were lovely and only a phone call away. Nothing was too much trouble including taking us back to the airport. Most properties are difficult to find in this area but it just takes asking for a little help from a shop owner to put you on the right track as everyone is super friendly. This is our second visit to Split and will look forward to returning. We would definitely stay in the same apartment again. Thank you for a lovely stay Zeljko.

Worst holiday experience!!
- The accommodation is NOT a hotel, although it is called a "3 star hotel"
- The accommodation was incredibly dirty (yellow discolorations on the sheets, hair, dark spots; everything in the bathroom was calcified and dirty) so an overnight stay here was not reasonable
- The owner of the accommodation was not discerning and insisted that everything was clean and he would offer the "best" (although he had evidence photos and videos available)
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Women travelling alone should NOT stay here. The way the owner behaves towards women and talks/writes to them is super inappropriate and in my opinion disrespectful (lewd messages and ridicules everything. It got to the point where I was even asked by Check24 to block him for harassing me with his lewd messages.
Please check out the reviews again. Other women have complained about his behavior before me. I as a woman felt incredibly insecure there.

Super location, super boring accommodation
Three tough steep stairs with a small bag up to lgh A3. No photos of this room were shown on Booking.com.
Very boring room, no bedside lamps, wobbly TV, minimal shower/toilet room. Boring blanket on the bed (but it was nice), lousy with electrical connectors even if there was a dirty adapter. Not a single hook in the bathroom and some needlessly hung behind the "dining table". 2 nights was 1 too much!

An old room in the center of the city
Top Center is an accommodation located in the center of the old town of Split, in Dalmatian Coast. The rate quality/price is ok. It is very well located in the center of the city. The room is ok only for sleeping.
The room is old, it is necessary a renovation. It is not possible to arrive by car (driving in the center is forbidden). It was difficult to find it, because it is not located directly in the street, you have to enter in a corridor and it is not signed. It does not have a lift and stairs should be renovated. It was difficult to speak with owners/staff.

There are better places where to stay in Split
If you can other place for the same price, do it.
- There were no towels in our room.
- The shower didn’t have a curtain so the whole bathroom was soaked and therefore full of mosquitoes.
- The address that appears on Booking is not correct so we got lost.
- The communication with the owners was bad because first of all they didn’t answer the 2 calls and when they did, wanted to speak in German even thought I was speaking in English.
- The specifications to find the key were not clear.
- Finally, they opened the door of our room before the check out time when we were changing our clothes inside.
- There were no towels in our room.
