Incompetence and dishonesty

A disastrous management! Accepts a reservation 24 hours in advance and then cancels 15 minutes before my arrival without justification, simply stating that the hotel is full... either it is gross incompetence or blatant dishonesty; certainly, a guest must have demanded a spot, and they found nothing better than to remove me from their reservations to cater to his desires, as is unfortunately customary in this country... an establishment to avoid!

Ftour Ramadan 2026 Big scam

Being in Algiers during this Ramadan, my husband and I were booked to break the fast at the restaurant le Voutain of the hotel du val
I didn't like their buffet, which I thought was too commonplace for the 8,000 da per person,
I didn't like the chorba.
I liked the salad buffet which had a wide choice,
The dishes of resistance were not very varied
By the time we had eaten, there were already no cakes or dessert!!!

Good accommodation in Algiers

During our tour of Algeria we spent the first two nights in this Hotel and the experience was good. Clean rooms, maybe a little dark, friendly staff both at reception and in the restaurant. Discreet breakfast and dinner, with a choice of savoury and sweet, hot and mixed salads. The hotel is located in an area close to various embassies and is not very convenient to the city center. I used the Laundry Service and it was accurate and punctual.
