Great base for a night in the capital

Our last hotel during our tour in Uzbekistan.
The hotel is located in a beautiful modern street with all shops and restaurants just steps from the station. With a Yandex, you'll be all over town in no time.
Hotel is not special, but fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Ideal for another night of capital.

Complete misrepresentation – dirty rooms, broken AC, and hidden pool fees

We booked a Premium Suite for three adults through Expedia, primarily chosen for its location, included breakfast, and pool access. Unfortunately, the reality was unacceptable.
When we were escorted to our room, we found heavily stained, dirty carpets, rock-hard beds, and an air conditioning unit that did not work at all. To make matters worse, we were informed that the pool is managed by a third-party company and is not included. Access requires advance reservations at an outrageous $80 per person for just one hour.
We immediately contacted Expedia, and thankfully, within an hour, they relocated us to another hotel that was spotless, had an incredible breakfast, and offered a free outdoor pool open until 10 PM.
Save your time and money—do not book at The Manor.

Nice hotel in Tashkent

Nice hotel in Tashkent. The room is spacious, the bed is very high, and the bathroom is very spacious with an excellent shower. It is difficult to turn on the air conditioning, but once it is on, it works. I cannot give an opinion on the breakfast as we left the hotel at 3 a.m. to catch our flight and we were provided with a box. Kind staff.

A 4 star upgradeable

Soviet-style structure in a central location. Room with furniture a bit dated. The electrical outlets were not working. Bathroom: shower with old seals (water came out of the shower and flooded the rest of the bathroom). Worn sheets and generally improveable internal cleanliness level. International breakfast but improveable.
Hotel in the capital that is clearly used by a hit-and-run tourism.

Falling short of expectations

The hotel falls short of expectations. The appearance and presentation should create a high-quality impression. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, but still seem quite empty and unlovely designed - it is simply lacking the decoration. There is also a nightclub right next to the hotel, which is active until early in the morning. In certain parts of the hotel it is therefore completely impossible to stay overnight, as there is no sound insulation at all. On request we got a new room after some back and forth. The reception staff seems overall passive and disinterested.
The spa area makes relatively little sense as it is charged for hotel guests and the prices are extremely high.
In itself, there is a lot of potential here, which unfortunately is not being used.
