calm and welcoming atmosphere

The hotel is a nice place to stay for a couple of days. it is located in a beautiful, calm neighbourhood and only 5 min walking from the next big supermarket. The owners are very helpful and communicative. Theres a big kitchen that you can use, it is very clean and there are games like chess or monopoly that you can play. The beach is also very close by (10 min by walking). There´s a nice terrace in the garden and a hammock where you can relax. To discover Punta del Este with a rather low budget it is a perfect place to stay.

Customer left on their own

If it were not for last night (April 21st), I'd give La Casa an 8.5, maybe nice. I did feel at home at this cozy B nice house, good bedroom and friendly staff. It feels nice to use the kitchen and facilities.
But, by 3:00 AM this morning, robbers broken into the house. They've stolen a big screen TV and a notebook from the inn and a cellphone, a camera and money from a Brazilian couple "next room". Well, the worst thing was to realize that nobody from La Casa were in the premises. They leave the customers on their own. And they don't answer to any contact number. Also, they do not reply to any kind of messages. Not even from the cops. That's outrageous!!!

Good price for the area

This is a centrally located house in a beautiful garden setting. The room was clean if quite basic and the shower room was also kept clean despite the number of guests using it. The breakfast is huge (very sweet) with good coffee and you can make use of the kitchen which has everything you would expect.

Don't stay here

I had to stay an extra night in Punta del Este and booked this place online, this is actually an old home in a residential area, far from public transportation or taxis. But if you don't mind walking that can be saved, the problem is the place is operated in a super casual way, I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes at the front desk, there was no personal at the hotel on a Sunday at 5:00 pm. eventually a very nice girl showed up, but since she was hired 2 days earlier didn't know how to do a check in, over the phone talked to someone else who told here to take me to a room that by the way was occupied. I finally got into my room about 1 hour and half waiting. The rooms are sad and old, the shared bathrooms too. The rates are of 3 star and is not even a 2.

Not a bad place to stay could do with a revamp location is good near beach area good place to relax quite neighbours friendly staff overall ok accomadation for the area breakfast is not bad price is ok for the area
