Fantastic stay at Hotel amour Side
Fantastic experience. Well received by hotel staff. They were very helpful and friendly. Friendly staff which also ensures that you get a smile on your face. The food was fantastic and the bedroom was very clean. Were well heard and seen in the hotel. Every now and then you would have a chat and check that everything was satisfactory. And it certainly was. Through hotel various activities undertaken outside the hotel. The Green Canion was worth seeing next to the Jeep Safari. Throughout our stay a Turkish evening experienced..this was fantastic and very beautiful to see. We all danced afterwards. There was also life music every now and then. There is a nice atmosphere.
Afterwards we got a luxury ride home via t hotel at a nice rate. That obviously made the trip exquisite and very comfortable.
So we are very satisfied.

A good holiday experience
My grandmother and I visited this hotel. Upon check-in we were greeted by welcoming staff, who helped us check in. The room we got had a balcony facing the pool area and the restaurant. There could be music noise and smoke from cooking the days when the barbecue is used. Otherwise the room was quite central, at least given the elderly people who have pain to walk. The room was perfectly fine, but the beds were a bit hard. It was also done daily cleaning in the room, if we wanted. The hotel was also very clean and the staff sucked up dust and garbage regularly.
The pool in the hotel was not very large, and many of the sunbeds were in the shade. That’s why we used the hotel’s private beach. There went free bus several times a day both to and from the hotel. There is also free internet if you ask those who work in the bar. There were always free sunbeds, and short distance to the beach bar which had both food and drink. It was fine selection, and good food there too. The buffet at the hotel was not very large, but had good food.There were different days with different themes, and our favorite was the Turkish evening.
Later in our stay we heard about towel card you could get at check-in, this we did not get. We checked it in the reception and could borrow towels at the hotel that could be used on the beach and at the pool.
We had a flight that went by midnight, and got the opportunity to use the hotel after check-out too. Although we did not have room we got the opportunity to borrow the shower in the spa department. This was a nice solution so that we could spend all our holidays. We could also take advantage of all inclusive until the bus picked us up.
The service was very friendly and welcoming. They made our stay even better. All in all, we had a super vacation and can gladly travel back here!

OK for the money
It is a fairly nice new hotel. The rooms are for the small side, but if you only need to sleep there, then it is fine. Nice with electric kettle and coffee/the in the room.
There are smokers/non-smokers rooms, and we got a non-smoker. Unfortunately, it apparently does not apply to the balconies, as the underbooth smoked out there, so we could not have the door open when they were in the room.
In addition, there were tables and chairs just outside the stairs to the rooms, where you had to smoke, so you walked right into a cloud of cigarette smoke.
If you choose this hotel. Then you should not stay in rooms located on the left when you come past the reception. The rooms are located right down to a huge diesel generator, which takes over the power supply when it smokes. It happened in brief periods, but one day it was for 6 hours, and it sounds as it sounds even though you have closed the door to the balcony, and it stinks as well.
The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Side’s old town, but in very short distance to public transport.
The food at the hotel was pretty boring. It looked great, but was tasteless, and several of the things lack signs so you don't know what you're eating. In addition, the food was always cold, or if you were lucky, lukewarm.
The staff at the reception was reasonably service-minded, but virtually the rest of the staff did not know what service was. In the restaurant the top, and the second top walked around and looked important. And that was all they did. They would like to stand in front of some food or in the middle of it all, and talk together, and they did not move even though a guest had to pass by, or have anything from the dish they stood in front of. No one had to wait nice until they moved. The same was the case for the rest of the staff, if the ex had to be swept where you sat, then you had to lift your feet, because they didn't wait until you were gone.
Or the cart with dirty service, was put across so you couldn't get by because the staff just had to take an extra plate with.
The two tall gentlemen were also served the, to themselves, and the guests they occasionally appointed, by the staff who or had to make sure to remove used service and put up clean.
One should think that the staff had enough to make, so that the tall gentlemen themselves could pick up their tea. And then they could appropriately pick up the napkin that lay on the floor, and which they deliberately walked by, but otherwise did not care about it.
The only one who was actually incredibly service minded and whistled around all the time was a young woman - I think her name was Yeter or something in that direction.
Cute, smiling, fast and had a huge overview of the restaurant.
She should be promoted and take over the jobs of the two “high” gentlemen.

Favorite in replay over and over
My third time at this hotel!
My absolute favorite hotel with the friendliest and nicest staff, fantastic food, if you like well cooked and classic food, very clean and fresh, very nice SPA with great selection of treatments. Have already booked another trip here again. An oasis for complete relaxation, close to the beach, entertainment with theme nights at the hotel, close to shopping and culture in the form of the Old Town.
There is nothing missing for me❤️❤️❤️

Definitely not a 4-star hotel by European standards
PROS
Unlimited bottled water, both at the hotel and on the beach.
No insects or ants, which was definitely a plus.
The staff cleans regularly and the hotel is generally kept reasonably clean.
Good location — around 30 minutes from the ancient town.
The air conditioning in our room worked well. When it stopped working, a technician came and fixed it within 10 minutes.
CONS
Unfortunately, there were far more negatives than positives.
Very poor food quality and variety. There is virtually no seafood. Once we had some squid and tiny shrimp, but otherwise the fish selection consisted mainly of pangasius, mackerel, sea bream and tuna.
The food is extremely bland. There is barely any seasoning — no salt, pepper or other spices.
Very little meat/protein at breakfast.
No clear allergen or gluten information for individual dishes. You simply have to guess what is safe to eat.
Very small swimming pool. Some of the rails/steps separating the pool sections are loose and falling out, which definitely needs to be repaired.
Very small rooms. The standard room is particularly disappointing. There is barely enough space for one suitcase, let alone two.
Very poor standard of room finishing and furnishings.
Mold in the shower cabin and a generally awful bathroom.
During a power outage, the electronic door lock does not work, meaning you cannot enter your room. This is a serious safety issue, especially if, for example, a child is sleeping inside without a parent.
We also had the impression that Polish guests were being given inferior rooms compared with Russian, German, Czech or Hungarian guests. Rooms on the right-hand side of the hotel, starting from room 6102, face the street and are very noisy due to constantly running ventilation fans and air-conditioning compressors.
Extremely loud music around the pool during the day. The playlist desperately needs updating — the same song can apparently be played repeatedly for an hour.
The evening entertainment is also very loud and continues until around 10–11 p.m. The music carries into the rooms, making it difficult to relax or sleep. The same songs are played over and over again — even Last Christmas.
The drinks are terrible. Most of them are barely drinkable and are served in old, worn-out plastic cups.
The “mojito” is made with lemon ;) even though there are limes growing in the hotel garden. The bartenders seem to be waiters, and the waiters seem to be bartenders. Basic cocktails such as Cuba Libre appear to be unknown, along with many other standard drinks.
Although the hotel is officially rated 4 stars, by European standards it would barely qualify as a 3-star hotel.
Smoking is allowed practically everywhere. There are no properly designated smoking areas, which is extremely unpleasant, especially for non-smokers.
At the beach, the only alcoholic drink available is draft beer — there are no cocktails. The soft drinks taste like something from a fast-food restaurant.
The beach food is practically inedible. The schnitzel and nuggets taste like processed meat or foam.
The beach itself is a major disappointment. The sand is dark and dirty, stains your feet and towels, and is not what you would expect from a holiday in Turkey. The beach umbrellas are also in terrible condition and desperately need renovation.
OVERALL
Overall, we would never choose this hotel again and cannot recommend it.
For the same money, we would strongly recommend choosing another hotel with a genuine 5-star standard. Unfortunately, this hotel simply does not meet what we would consider a European 4-star standard.
The most telling comment came from the hotel representative, who basically told us that “for a local 4-star hotel, it is actually quite good.” ;)
Unfortunately, that is exactly the problem — perhaps it meets the local expectations of a 4-star hotel, but if you are used to European 4- or 5-star standards, do not expect the same level here.
