What a gem of a place. It is tucked into the hill at various split levels giving it a mysterious charm with privacy for all. The staff are genuinely caring and extremely competent. The prices are reasonable if not downright thrifty. Spotless everywhere. The most popular pension in Patara, and with good reason.

Unforgettable

This place reminded me of pensions I used to stay at at the end of eighties, travelling in Turkey with my sister. Simple, clean, warm and hospitable - places one never forgets, like one's own home.
My reservation, even though non-refundable, was kindly, without any questions, moved to the next day. The atmosphere was exquisite, a mixture of family, locals and tourists, all of whom seemed to have felt at home there.
I didn't find anything missing, nothing that needed an improvement.
I left with a pomegranate, a hand-picked gift from the owner!

We had a very large triple room (for two) with good storage space for a longer stay, plus a large bathroom with nice shower. The beds were very comfortable. As with most rooms here, ours had a pleasant terrace to enjoy the afternoon. We loved passing thru their garden to reach the room. Another plus is the cooking, as the chefs make everything fresh and tasty. So, breakfast is great; meals include a lot of options for vegetarians, and the restaurant at night becomes a haven for many in town. The owner offers an inexpensive washing service, and we could dry our things on the terrace. Overall, we enjoyed a peaceful and friendly atmosphere here, especially with the attention from the gracious owner. The hotel is very accessible by a short ride or easy walk to local beaches and the Patara ruins plus Xanthos/Letoon are nearby.
