Beautiful government owned hotel just outside of the city center in Chiang Rai. The hotel sits next to a river and has an amazing huge clean swimming pool.

Property is nice. Handicap accessible. Pool area is nice. One restaurant with limited selection. Breakfast was average. Need more variety. Night staff seems need more training.

The place has great potential. Nice, big rooms, but pool closed for renovations, half the gym equipment not working, and construction noise outside the window during the day didn't help.

Quiet location by river but too far from town centre not walkable at all. Unfortunately swimming pool being refurbished and some construction work going on. Also wanted to charge 200 baht just for another room key. No shops or restaurants nearby.
