Switch off and relax

What a wonderful place to stay. Villa Viarch feels remote but is within easy reach of everything either by bike, scooter or taxi. Our room was right on the river, it was relaxing to sit outside amongst the sights and sounds. The staff are great and vey helpful. The map of the area that they give you is a great little addition. A side note the restaurant they recommend close by is a must visit. The use of the bikes and kayaks is a plus. It’s just a relaxing place to be. Next time we’re in Chumphon it’ll be a must stay for us.

Excellent accommodation , lovely staff and a beautiful location.

Set in a beautiful location with nature all around you. Our spacious villa was positioned right beside the river. My senses were blown away every time I sat outside on the balcony to listen and watch the jungle around me. I could sit there for hours. Our villa was cleaned every day and coffee (made and produced on the site) was put in our room as well as water, little boxes of cereal and crackers and carton milk. Couldn’t fault it tbh, staff were all nice and very helpful giving me a map of the local area and Restaurants. I would definitely recommend you stay here, you do need transport to explore.

Idyllic beautiful!

The owners of Villa Varich are very dear and helpful hosts and take care of the concerns of their guests together with the staff.
This is the second time we've been here in a row. You are in the middle of nature, right on the river and it is absolutely quiet, unless you are disturbed by the chirping of the birds .
The bungalows are spacious, well maintained and very clean and arranged so that you have your privacy. A small terrace with sun loungers and views of the river or beautifully landscaped garden with pond invites you to linger longer.
Opposite the reception of the small complex, directly on the river, is the Common Area with gazebo and observation deck .
There is a small breakfast every morning with coffee, tea, toast and fresh fruit. A highlight is the freshly roasted coffee from the local coffee plantation, which is available on the accommodations to infuse yourself.
Anyone interested in coffee roasting can experience this process live behind the pavilion.
Villa Varich does not have a restaurant, but there is plenty nearby. A very special restaurant, "Baan Yai Sri", is just around the corner (only 2 minutes walk away), which is run by an elderly lady and her food is really of star quality!
Kayaks and bicycles can also be rented and are available free of charge. Mopeds can be rented on site.

An amazing quiet retreat right on the river. We only stayed one night but enjoyed a very nice walk in the morning along the river and through the gardens. It is only a few minutes drive to the town where there are many dining options.

Simple, relaxed, good!

Square, practical, good for one night. Totally quaint, located directly on a small river, in the middle of coconut plantations. Simple, small breakfast. Practical! Very friendly and helpful staff! Small, very tasty home cooking place just around the corner!
