Excellent experience.
A brand-new hotel, well-located and with a spectacular pool. Large, beautiful, quiet, and super comfortable room. Good lunch on the rooftop. In short, would do it again

Lacking.
We stayed at the Artyzen Singapore as a stopover on our way to Bali from Thailand. Upon arrival, we were greeted and provided general information about the property, including the pool, rooftop bar and restaurant. Staff were pleasant and the rooms are beautiful. Since the staff had such a rave review of the pool - we went to the roof after dropping off our bags to find a pool with a severe algae issue. It doesn’t appear that maintenance takes their job very seriously, especially for a 5* hotel. Additionally, all of the patio furniture was pushed to the edge of the bar - as if they were closed. The bar seemed understaffed - with a single employee running around to ensure everyone had their drinks. Despite a kitchen being adjacent to the rooftop bar - they bring any order food from a kitchen on the 1st floor. I relayed the pool issues to the front desk staff. Later we went to the rooftop to enjoy happy hour to find the pool areas scrubbed but a dark green tint to the entire pool water with children swimming. After enjoying happy hour, we returned to our room to complete a couple business calls and ordered a bottle of Prosecco via their portal - only to receive a call from the food service department that they didn’t have any Prosecco. Other things are off about this hotel - that imply management is not doing their job or quite frankly - bigger issues are present. Does the Artyzen Singapore have financial woes ahead? My observations indicated so. Overall, the property has a lot of potential - but definitely missed the mark during our stay.

Great hard product, consistency is an issue.
This was our fourth stay at Artyzen Singapore. It was also our introduction to the Artyzen brand, we arrived with little idea of what to expect. Since then, our experiences have ranged from good to genuinely memorable, which explains why we keep returning.
A few observations from our last stay:
(i) A distinctive and beautifully executed hard product
The hard product is undoubtedly one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. The architecture feels fresh and distinctive, complemented by tasteful interiors and abundant vertical gardens that soften the urban setting. We particularly enjoy the interplay between the lush greenery and the Singapore skyline, which gives the property a character unlike many other city hotels.
That said, room selection matters. A number of rooms face the neighbouring construction site, where both the outlook and occasional noise can be underwhelming. Fortunately, the hotel has consistently been accommodating with our room preferences whenever operationally possible, and we appreciate those efforts.
(ii) Generous benefits and thoughtful loyalty recognition
Our iPrefer membership has been consistently recognised, something we genuinely appreciate.
The complimentary house car is another thoughtful touch, especially considering the hotel sits slightly away from the busiest stretch of Orchard Road. It helps bridge that last mile conveniently. We have noticed, however, that the service has become more restrictive over time, most notably with the revised operating hours between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
3. Success brings its own operational challenges
The hotel has deservedly become increasingly popular and is often fully booked. While this is undoubtedly a positive sign, it occasionally exposes some inconsistencies in the guest experience.
During a few of our late-evening arrivals (around 10:00 PM), there was no bell service available, welcome amenities were not consistently provided, and the service interactions felt noticeably more hurried and more transactional.
Overall, we continue to find Artyzen Singapore one of the more compelling boutique offerings in Singapore, particularly considering its pricing. It combines a distinctive design identity, meaningful loyalty recognition, and a team that consistently strives to make guests feel welcome.
No hotel is perfect, and Artyzen is not immune to the growing pains that often accompany success. Nevertheless, it remains a property we genuinely enjoy returning to, and one we would happily recommend to travellers looking for something a little different from the traditional hotel experience.

beautiful, ultra-modern hotel
A beautiful hotel indeed. Great room, bed, gym and spa with ultra-modern decor, phones and TV. Need to learn how to use these. Swim early morning in the rooftop pool with the birds and panorama views. Bonus - Hard Rock Cafe is close by. Outstanding. You have booked, right?

Love this property. The rooms were clean, the ceilings high and I love having a balcony. Super close to Orchard Road and the Botanic Gardens. Really easy for transport around town too.
