Golf days

Nice place with nice rooms and ok golf course. The food is ok. Breakfast is good. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a point of view that was resolved very well.

General disappointment

Disappointed – does not live up to its fine reviews After reading all the positive reviews, this was a big disappointment. The place feels very worn out and run-down, more like a scout barracks than a resort. The room had major flaws: the beds were falling apart so you couldn't sleep together, the curtain was too small so it was super bright early in the morning, a blue lamp shone brightly all night, and the shower was broken. The cleaning was not good either, with stains on the carpet and marks on the headboard. The spa was a disappointment with small, dull pools in stainless steel and a rickety sauna. It felt stingy that you had to buy an extra padlock to lock up your things, and they only offered lukewarm drinking water. The water from the private well did not taste good and made the skin very dry. The surroundings are dull and industrial without nature, and the lounge furniture is old and worn. We only saw three in the staff and there was nothing to do. Not worth the money.

Mediocre stay

Two of us stayed for one night on a Thursday. As it was summer, the resort was quite busy with many guests. Here are the pros and cons of our stay:
Positives:
- Room: Room 107 was spacious and quiet.
- Dinner: The 3-course dinner menu was delicious. We had the burrata and Toast Skagen for starters, followed by roast beef for our main course. Everything was very well prepared and flavorful.
Negatives:
- Very slow dinner service: It took over five minutes just to be seated, and even longer to receive the menus. This was followed by another long wait just to place our order.
- Breakfast tea & coffee area: Although there was a variety of teas displayed in the box, half of the slots were empty. The honey container was also practically empty -what little remained was stuck to the sides and couldn't be poured.
- Room cleanliness: Upon arrival, we found hair in the bathroom sink and stray hairs on the carpet.
- Spa cleanliness: There was visible limescale in the hot tub. Additionally, when looking up while in the outdoor bath, there were numerous spider webs overhead.
- Soundproofing: While the night was otherwise quiet, we were woken up early by the sound of neighboring doors slamming shut.
Overall, it was an okay stay, but not particularly impressive.

Good place for a stopover when traveling.

This resort offers everything you need when you have a one night stopover. The room was spacious and the beds where fine. We really enjoyed the breakfast.
