Perfect place to end a day

Granted. The Hotel is old fashioned. The rooms are 70's or 80's style. But they are very comfortable and the view to the lake is breathtaking! The bar inviting, the restaurant good. I loved staying there.

Beautiful views but........hotel needs updated

We stayed at la Fleur du Lac at a strange time, just after things opened up from Covid-19. We live in Switzerland and wanted to get away with our family for the weekend. We did have a nice stay in Morges. It's a beautiful little town and close to other places we wanted to visit. La Fleur du Lac had very nice views of the lake from the rooms. The rooms were comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a simple but nice selection. Like other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is due for an update. This hotel does have amazing potential but needs some attention to the fine details. The carpet in the stairway was dirty, the table cloth on the terrace table had stains, and the wifi was not very good. The hotel does not have air-conditioning but we were there during a cooler weekend and did not need it. The cool breeze from the lake at night was perfect.

Not what we expected

This hotel is on the 200 dollars price without breakfast.
No air conditioning, what for us , with 30 degrees as average days was very uncomfortable.
Horrible WiFi, close to unusable.
Great Lake view, great location, but the hotel is very old and needs a huge remodelation.
Good bed and good bathroom.
Lots of spiders, seems to be a kind of local pet here.
Dog are permitted, we have had a noisy neighbour.
We do not think on coming back here ever again.

Beautiful View but Hotel Needs Work

This hotel has a gorgeous view of the lake from each room and the staff is extremely nice and friendly. The rooms are in desperate need of some upgrades/general attention. We killed at least eight small spiders in our room and the furniture is from the 1980s if not earlier (the blow dryer is yellowed plastic from age). If they invested a little money to maintain or upgrade the rooms, this place has amazing potential.

Nice views but needs a huge repair. If you're not Swiss prepare a diposit of 600 CHF!

The view in front of the lake is amazing.
The hotel is far away from a 4 stars rate. The lights don't work, the carpet has a lot of stains, the windows of the room don't close, in a nutshell needs a lot of maintenance and repairs.
The breakfast is very good (natural orange juice and good coffee).
I was staying at the hotel for a business trip. All of my colleagues except the ones with a Swiss passport were asked to leave a diposit of 600 CHF. I want to highlight this as it's a huge amount and it's no refunded until 2 weeks after your checkout.
