Great birthday party

Great hotel for groups, very clean, for the slightly older hotel ,but has quite its charm .Man can move freely ,even to the camp and the kitchen ,must of course mention that we rented the whole hotel for a 70th birthday. Simply casual atmosphere, also for playing ,Billiard Döggele table tennis indoor .Price performance fully OK.

Ideal for groups and clubs

We were on the adrenaline in September 2025 with a tour group of 17 people.
The building is old and has visible signs of age.
BUT: the hospitality of the staff, the good food, the clean rooms and the perfect view of the Glarus Alps have clearly outweighed.
I can highly recommend the adrenaline especially for larger groups.

Cheap, great value and clean

Affordable, functional, clean accommodation. With access to shared kitchens, billiards rooms and common areas. The hostel is in a prime location, very close to the mountain station of Braunwald and accordingly perfectly accessible by public transport.

Queasy, untidy, outdated

On my hike from Solothurn to Arosa I booked in Braunwald for a night in the adrenaline. When I arrived after 7 hours of hiking, an employee told me in front of the closed door that the house was closed. I showed her the confirmation voucher. A gentleman whom she called then led me into a room.
The bed was not dressed, no bath towel was available and it was very small. I wrote an email to the address that was on my confirmation.
I just wanted to take a shower...
The shower was in the same room as the toilet and the lavabo. Unfortunately, the shower curtain was full of mold and I could not and would not touch it. Fortunately, I received a quick email with the phone number from the manager. I contact him and he told me to move to another room. But it wasn't the hit either and the bed was a disaster.
For such a room, in a dingy Guest house, without service and breakfast, to charge CHF 85.00 is a cheek!
No wonder Switzerland is losing its reputation abroad!
No more adrenaline, no more brown forest

The worst thing there is!

This hostel is the worst we have ever experienced. Shabby rooms, broken infrastructure, water damage that was not repaired and totally negative comments from the staff. It was so dirty that we had to go to another hotel. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!!! The hostel is about to be demolished!
