Great for relaxing without any kind of schedule or ’must be done’
Perfect place for relaxing and doing nothing. We had the cave, if available, it’s a must.
There is a kind of ’zoo’ for children, chickens, other birds, donkey etc for children. And a playground. Reasonable size swimming pool.
Nice walks and trekking of you like.
Beautiful sceneries. The whole area is done with a good taste.
Not a resort for those wishing to burn themselves on sandy beach.
Food is plenty and home made.
Friendly staff. Cheff (Ante?) very accomodating to your special wishes.
We loved our days in this resort.
A kind of Spanish version of Japanise Ryokan.
There is a kind of ’zoo’ for children, chickens, other birds, donkey etc for children. And a playground. Reasonable size swimming pool.

Welcome to Jurassic Park!
Great facility, all in nature. With steep access to the rocky beach. We spent hours damming small streams and building stone towers.
Very great apartments. We stayed at Villa Artenara which we liked very much. With small kitchen to cook something yourself. Spacious terrace, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ideal for a family with up to 3 children. A supermarket is located in Agaete, a few minutes by car.
(Coffee machine Nescafe, not Nespresso)
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great breakfast buffet with freshly squeezed juices. Simple but very good cuisine for dinner or for a lunch.
Because the terrain is so big and on the slope, everyone rents an electric buggy.
The smaller pool by the restaurant is heated. Various sports equipment for free use.
We would definitely come back. It was really great!
(The honking trucks: Above the plant the winding road leads through. Trucks honk their horns before the curves because they need all the space. It honks every now and then on weekdays, but is not a deal breaker. A large pass road with tunnels is under construction.)

Relax, relax, exercise and above all enjoy!
Relax at Redondo de Guayedra!! It is a beautiful, small-scale eco-holiday park on the most beautiful and quiet and rugged side of the island of Gran Canaria. The amazing palm trees, flowers, fruit trees and animals (turtle, donkey, birds, chickens, geese, goats, bats, and the lizards) make for fun at the park. The original houses are nicely built and cool due to the air conditioning, and fresh and modern furnishings and equipped with a nice terrace with dining table and sun loungers. There are plenty of spots in the sun and shade near the houses but also on the whole park. The kitchen of the villa is totally fine, the showers are nice and there are good bath towels (also to take to the pool). The 2 pools are very pleasant, clean and well maintained. The people who work at Redondo de Guaydra are all equally friendly and helpful. The resort is quite large and in terms of area and hilly, it is therefore nice that you can rent golf carts to drive across the park. From the villa to breakfast, to the villa, to the tennis court, to the entrance of the beach, to the animals. The breakfast is really very good! Everything fresh and was also replenished again and again. Especially the fresh fruit, also from our own garden (!), was of course super tasty.
If you want to have dinner in the evening, indicate it in the morning.
The tennis court (with basket and goals) is amazing!! Tennis / sports between the mountains and the beautiful trees!! That is really UNIQUE.
Trips to the museum in Gáldar, a day trip to Las Palmas, the beach North Beach Sardina (totally non-touristy), snorkeling and lunch at playa de Mogán, and the aquarium Poema del Mar in Las Palmas are recommended.
We thought 2 weeks was too short. So we prefer to come back again.
If you want to have dinner in the evening, indicate it in the morning.
The tennis court (with basket and goals) is amazing!! Tennis / sports between the mountains and the beautiful trees!! That is really UNIQUE.
Trips to the museum in Gáldar, a day trip to Las Palmas, the beach North Beach Sardina (totally non-touristy), snorkeling and lunch at playa de Mogán, and the aquarium Poema del Mar in Las Palmas are recommended.

The best disconnect
We have spent four fantastic days with the family. The place is very quiet. Spectacular views over the Atlantic. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are many activities to do. I highly recommend it. I don't usually review, but they have been lovely!
