Exceptional experience - perfect for airport transit
The units are extraordinarily well equipped with a large fridge-freezer, microwave, even a hob and pots and pans and crockery and cutlery. What's more, they provide ample food in your accommodation to set you up for breakfast and lunches, and there would even be enough to do a basic evening meal - there's tuna, noodles, rice, eggs and sausages, bread, jam and butter and a generous supply of bottled drinking water.
On the way back from the airport Ellice pointed out places we could go to eat, which are about a 15 minute walk away. We enjoyed some interesting noodle dishes at the Say Yeah bar in the nearby parade of shops.
Internet is fast and free.
The beds are clean and comfy and the air con works well.
The hosts also put themselves out to help us out in various other ways - they are incredibly helpful and generous.
In summary, this would be our no 1 choice of where to stay if ever we are passing through Honiara - we recommend it warmly.

Ein wenig unheimlich aber ok
Das Zimmer war groß und mit Küche ausgestattet. Es war sogar alles vorhanden für ein ausreichendes Frühstück zum selber zubereiten.
Die Umgebung war ein wenig beängstigent, aber durch den hohen Zaun und die vergitterten Fenster gab es keinen Anlass zur Sorge.
Die Unterkunft liegt nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Flughafen, aber trotzdem ist ein Taxi ratsam. Zum Abendessen gibt es nur ein annehmbares Restaurant direkt neben dem Flugplatz.
Die Inhaberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns am nächsten Tag einen Tagesausflug organisiert.
