5star experience

We return to this boutique hotel every year with great pleasure. It is located in a historic building within a pedestrian area, surrounded by many cafes and restaurants. We stayed in the Diplomatic Suite on the 2nd floor and enjoyed a beautiful sea view. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is always warm and professional. To top it all off, the à la carte breakfast is fantastic and the service during breakfast is exceptional! A true 5-star experience !

Best Hotel on the Black Sea

We spent one night at the Hotel Cherica and we absolutely loved the experience. This is what this stay was, an experience. The Hotel is named after Princess Cherica and it's an incredible story. The Hotel does have limited parking but the wonderful Cati found a spot for our rental car. The elevator is not to be missed, it's probably the slowest elevator we've ever been on, but it was fun. We took the stairs the rest of the time. The Black Sea is two minutes from the hotel with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Rooms are in outstanding condition and the wi-fi is password protected. Breakfast is staffed by a kind gentleman and don't miss it. Travelers, I have been on the road in Europe for 24 days, this was my 2nd to last stop, this was my favorite place and you won't be disappointed here. I'm definitely coming back here.

Great location

We spent two nights at the hotel at the start of a three week trip. It was centrally located, with foot access to the historic centre, as well as to the the city beaches.
We stayed in a large, comfortable corner suite that was surprisingly quiet and dark for sleeping given it’s location. Breakfasts were excellent in both service and food quality.

Comfortable and well located

We stayed in a comfortable and spacious room facing the main street. The bathroom was also spacious, with a bathtub in place of the shower. The staff at the reception was always friendly and kind. The hotel does not have a garage, but offers some reserved places to the Cherica on a side street that is about 100 meters from the entrance. Breakfast is served in the hotel's beautiful à la carte restaurant, with great options of hot dishes prepared on time. There are fresh croissants and jelly. The juices are industrialized. It's a matter of taste, but I prefer the "buffet" model, where the guest is more free to serve. The location is a strong spot for those who want to explore the whole city. For those who go in the summer and choose to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Black Sea, it seemed to me that the Mamaia region is more appropriate. There are a large number of restaurants and cafes near the hotel. After all, the city is beautiful and welcoming. We left satisfied and sure that we made a great choice of accommodation in Constanta.
