Great Stay
Excellent host and breakfast. Location great for restaurants, cafes, and shops. Used the 24h laundry, market shop, dessert shop just steps from BNB. For early birds the Llama cafe is open at 5:30am (correct on google not apple)!

Fantasstic Host
The primary host (really hostess), Maribel, is absolutely wonderful. Her communication about the logistics of the stay could not have been better or more appreciated.
My stay was during odd hours for one night, and she made the whole thing seamless.
The room was exactly as pictured. There was plenty of space and very comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, the shower was great with plenty of hot water. I didn't need it, but it looked like plenty of warmth was provided in the form of a heater and an extra blanket.
As I had to leave for the airport at 5 am, I did not get an opportunity to experience the breakfast, so I can't comment on that (although I'm sure it was good given what I know about Maribel). She did provide me some food items to take with me since I couldn't participate in the breakfast.
The location is great, near the old town square. The entrance to her place is in the middle of a one way narrow alley road. This surprised me, but it is manageable.
Given the value and great hospitality, I highly recommend Casa Durand for your stay in Cusco!

Correct and clean room
Excellent value for money, clean room, impeccable bedding, hot water and good pressure, very good location, organizes shuttles to the airport, help with laundry if necessary, ... Classic breakfast
You just have to close the SDB door because there are smells of sewage if you are not careful and the only ventilation overlooks the patio

Highly recommended
I highly recommend this hotel. The room is spacious with a large very comfortable bed. There’s a large smart tv and plenty of space for storage and a heater in the room if needed. . The ensuite shower room is a good size and the shower has hot water on demand with high water pressure. This is the best shower I’ve had so far in Peru. Everything is spotlessly clean.
The location is perfect, right next to the San Blas neighborhood and a 10 minute leisurely walk to Plaza De Amas.
Even though it’s very central it’s also quiet.
There’s a nice breakfast made to order each morning.
The hospitality it’s first rate. Mirabel the owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. The other staff are also very friendly and there is room cleaning if needed.
For the price I paid it is very good value.

A wonderful place to stay!
Casa Recoleta 555 in Cusco is a wonderful place to stay! Maribel and her family are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect! My girlfriend and I stayed here 4 times over a period of one month while hiking and traveling around Cusco. The rooms were always very clean and tidy, there is a breakfast included every morning, they arranged taxis for us and a laundry service! The location is perfect, right between San Blas and the historic center! Highly recommend you stay here when I’m Cusco, whether for 1 night or for a week!
