Wonderful and amazing

This hotel is run and managed by the owners Deirdre and Michael.
They are amazing host's, truly amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they will go the extra mile for you.
The beautiful individual cabins that you stay in are comfortable, clean and simply decorated.
The shower water is piping hot, and the actual shower cubicle is large.
The breakfasts are plentiful and beautifully cooked.
We had one meal apart from breakfast during our stay, which was beautifully cooked fresh fish with plenty of vegetables and and rice or potatoes.
The pool area and the pool are spotlessly clean.
In the lovely grounds are hammocks, and tables and chairs, all with shade.
This really is an absolute gem of a place, with owners who are so dedicated you are made to feel like a VIP from the moment you arrive.
Don't hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed.

Great Fishing, Friendly Staff, Beautiful and Relaxing Location

Had a recent 5-night/4-days Fishing stay at the Lodge, coming from the West Coast of the US. Over-nighted in Panama City, flew to David in the morning, and was transported to the lodge. The Lodge is about a two hour van ride from David, over a comfortable, scenic, newly paved road.
The lodge consists of a main Eating/gathering/bar building, with individual bungalows lined up on either side. There is a central pool area, large grassy area behind, and close proximity to the ocean.
Rooms are approx 24' by 27', with two beds, bathroom/shower, closet area, dresser and nightstand, inside table and chairs, small refrigerator. There is a comfortable porch area with chairs and table in front of each unit (outside electrical plug in). A/C, cable and free WiFi provided.
All food and drinks were provided by the lodge, including bottled water. The food quality is excellent, and an alternate menu is available if requested. Lunch and all beverages were included on our fishing charter.
Service is excellent, and staff all speak English. LAUNDRY SERVICE IS INCLUDED... (a great benefit if packing light). Daily maid service. Bathrooms are stocked with toiletries and hair dryer. The lodge Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the Charter Captains and deckhands are all first rate.
THIS IS MAINLY A FISHING LODGE, but facilities are very comfortable and relaxing. The closest small town is about 30 minutes away, and the closest reasonably sized town is over an hour away. Bring everything you need, but the Lodge owner and staff will try to help if any times are needed.

Did not stay here, but visited for lunch.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The 4 of us all had the seared tuna which was very good. It came with your choice of sides and a salad. The 4 of us had drinks and a meal for right at $. The grounds and accommodations looked very nice.

Exactly what we expected - they delivered

If you are seeking a resort venue, a spa or access to local activities this is NOT the place for you. BUT if you are seeking: Capable crews on well maintained boats, good food, a casual family atmosphere and a very generous bar tender, this place fills the bill. My wife and I were there for five days of fishing, both bottom fishing and off shore. We were not disappointed.
