Terrible.

I put a star because I can't put 0.
I booked a room for 3 nights, from 30/12/25 to 02/01/26. I came to the door and there was no one.
I'd sent a message via booking to let them know what time I was coming and nothing. No response. I waited about 45 minutes in front of the structure ringing and knocking on the door. I tried to call on the landline I had, no answer... I've sent more messages via booking and nothing.
I found myself at 19:30 without accommodation in the middle of Trieste arriving from Lyon to have to call booking that had no alternative to propose. A refund that will come who knows when... That's great. It's midnight and I'm still going around the hotels hoping to find something free. Thank you so much Marta for leaving me without accommodation in the middle of winter! Ghosting customers is not done! NEVER BOOK at this property

Welcomed with a smile

The owner's welcome made us immediately feel at home.
Extremely easy to access.
A stone's throw from the center.
Easy to park nearby.
The furniture is perhaps a little dated but who cares?

Not satisfied

Can't really understand why this place has such good reviews. The room I stayed in had a broken shower door and shower head. The room was incredibly basic, and the lighting was harsh LED light. It's an incredibly noisy property, with people trampling around all night - I barely got a wink of sleep my entire stay. The beds were not remade and fresh towels were not provided. There is also no wifi in the rooms. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place, not for the money they charge. Pay a little extra and stay in a proper hotel.

Great B&B

Marta is very sweet and her B&B is clean, well located in Trieste town center and with a nice personal touch.
We had a room with no air conditioned but with a ceiling fan that did its work.
The WiFi doesn't reach all room, but the signal is strong in the common area. If you need to use internet from the room I suggest to ask for it while booking.
Hot water in the common bathroom was great and breakfast good.
I would be happy to come back here.
