Villa Minuta
Scala is home to villa Minuta. Amalfi Cathedral and Villa Rufolo are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Amalfi Beach and Fiordo di Furore Beach. Minerva Garden and Lift to the Sea are also worth visiting. While you're here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home and more, including a seasonal outdoor pool and free WiFi, as well as an outdoor entertainment area and a garden. Other amenities include laundry facilities and a picnic area.

Trip of A Lifetime
This place could not be more perfect. There is a calm silence in the morning at Villa Minuta that is invigorating. The roosters crowing, the church bells ringing and the intoxicating smell of lavender in the air.
Mrs. Pina and her staff are the quintessential hosts. Zucchini blossoms, arancini, delectable pasta fagioli and the most delightful tomato salad ever eaten are just some of the delicious food she served us. Her joy for life and her welcoming demeanor made this truly an unforgettable trip. The concierge, Marilena, helped us select the most wonderful restaurants and excursions, and was available to assist us before and during our entire time at the Amalfi Coast. She helped make this vacation extremely memorable.
We had three generations gathering to celebrate milestones including one year, five year, twenty five year, and fifty year wedding anniversaries. It truly was an incredible getaway!

Beautiful villa caters for everything you jeed
We stayed there for my sons wedding in the square above the villa was fantastic beautiful views and scenery excellent amenities beautiful pool and brilliant hosts the owner and her staff were brilliant and would do anything you asked of them i would strongly recommend this beautiful villa to anybody you won’t be disappointed Steve Moreton

Tremendous Vacation at Villa Minuta
We stayed at Villa Minuta during in April 2019 during Spring Break. I would echo everyone who were delighted with the property - it is gorgeous, and the pictures do not do it justice. Waking up every morning with the views overlooking the Amalfi Coast, and seeing the lights of Ravello at night, need to be experienced. There are a lot of steps from the street to the villa, but this really is a 5-star experience. And you really get to experience Italy as a local, so to speak, at Villa Minuta - Mrs. Pia and Lydia gave us great recommendations for places to go and restaurants, including the local religious and musical events. They also arranged for a doctor to visit us when our daughter got sick (we joked she had too much Prosecco). We plan on going back some day, and will always remember how to greet in Italy with a kiss on the left cheek, then the right :).

Wonderful large and luxurious villa close to Ravello
We stayed at Villa Minuta in August 2018. First up, we were absolutely delighted with the property and the on-line photos do not do it justice, not at all! The grounds are beautiful and carefully manicured. On entering the property we were stunned by the high ceilings in the living room. The villa has everything you could ever want for and the views were simply stunning - looking out towards the sea, over to Ravello, and behind to the mountains. Stunning! The property was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high quality. The owner was attentive and although she lived in an apartment overlooking the property, it was comforting to know that she was nearby and she was extremely welcoming - she made a cake for us, delivered pastries on the first day and ordered pizza for some very tired travellers on the first night.
The location was excellent - yes a car was helpful, but you probably could manage without. Ravello was a 5 minute drive. We did venture to Amalfi a couple of times but in August the traffic was a nightmare so we spent a lot of time at the villa - which was so relaxing. A beautiful pool, a great BBQ and pizza oven, a fully equipped kitchen.
We had planned to do so many things - visit Vesuvias, Pompei, Capri (we've done them all before and WELL recommended) but actually the villa was so comfortable that we opted to relax at the villa. We wish we'd booked for 2 weeks and certainly will do that next time. Highly recommended. Only a couple of very small criticisms. Beds were very hard and the music from Ravello does filter into the rooms. Lots of steps to the apartment (definitely a workout and my legs ached all holiday) but it was really very beautiful.

Breath taking location.
Villa Minuta is situated in the area of Scala, a short distance by car from the popular town of Ravello. Surrounded by steep hills, the area is breath taking, although navigating the winding roads are suited mostly for the more able bodied individuals and you're met with numerous steps leading to the gated entrance. Our main transport during our stay was by taxi; 20 euros was the average price for a trip from Scala to Ravello.
The villa was a stunning, rustic building surrounded by beautiful well maintained gardens. Within the terraced gardens, you have access to a pool to keep you cool in the hot Campania sun. The villa was large enough to cater for 10 adults, each couple having their own room with ensuite toilet and shower. Each room had plenty of storage to hang your clothes. All the essentials were available: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, fridge etc. A cleaning service was provided but I was disappointed that the bed linen and towels were not changed during our weeks' stay. Also, although everything worked in the room, there was a crack on the toilet seat, which didn't seem recent. Maybe this was to add authenticity to the rustic ambience of the place, but more likely it was not.
This was our second time staying at the villa. Having stayed previously for a wedding; weddings being quite popular in this area. I would certainly return to villa Minuta. The location is quiet and reasonably situated to visit the surrounding towns of Ravello and Amalfi. The villa offers ample space to relax and soak-up the atmosphere. Although I provided a few criticisms, overall we had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to return.
