Great Hospitality, Fresh Pizza, and Amazing Mountain Views
We stayed for two nights in a pitch for our two-person tent. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming; as soon as they learned we arrived by public transit, they provided us with the Südtirol Guest Pass. The campsite is beautiful, featuring a swimming pool with stunning rocky mountain views and a sauna located right near our tent. Don't miss the delicious pizzas topped with local mushrooms, ham, and cheese. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Top campsite with an unbeatable mountain view.
An absolutely beautiful campsite on a plateau above Bolzano. Excellent facilities, a fantastic natural swimming pond, and stunning views of the Dolomites – simply breathtaking.
When arriving, be prepared for a long and steep climb from Bolzano (over 10 km), but the scenery is well worth the effort.
A transport card is included with your stay, providing access to local buses as well as the cable cars in the surrounding area.
The pizza at the campsite pizzeria was excellent.
I highly recommend this campsite. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Relaxation with Alpine Panorama
Especially during an extreme heatwave like the one we are experiencing, the Schartner Alm is a perfect place to relax, where one can enjoy great excursions during the day (take the earth pyramids forest hiking trail right at the first serpentine downhill!, bus/train combination via Oberbozen to Bolzano, and of course the bus/cable car/hiking tour to Rittner Horn) and in the evening a place to breathe. Even the heavily trafficked road next door was not really disturbing. The beautiful natural pool with a great Alpine panorama and many loungers is wonderfully refreshing. Since the area is not large, the paths to delicious rolls and pizza or the inviting sanitary area are always short. The caretaker and the cleaning staff were extremely diligent, yet unobtrusive. The staff at the reception and restaurant were very attentive and friendly. We would gladly return and will definitely recommend the Schartner Alm.

Ihr Lob für unseren Biopool mit Dolomitenblick, die kurzen Wege, die Restaurants, die Sanitäranlagen und vor allem für unser Hausmeister‑ und Reinigungsteam bedeutet uns sehr viel. Die beiden Teams arbeiten mit großer Sorgfalt und Herzblut, und Ihre Worte sind eine schöne Anerkennung.
