Situated in Procida, up on the the beach, Maresia Rooms offers sea view accommodation with a patio, and sunbed and umbrella outside your own room. Every guest can use swimming pool with idro and a private stairs to the beach.

Excellent
Well-kept location, sea view with access via a few steps, not very large swimming pool with seawater. A la carte breakfast from sweet to savory.
For lunch, you can order various large salads and sandwiches of various kinds and some delicacies from Mom Gabriella.
To describe the bar to you... are you familiar with the movie “Cocktail” with Tom Cruise? From that idea... DJ sets and many young people..
I recommend it even to people who are differently young... like me

Worst experience
We mistakenly exited the beach through this hotel with our kids. We realized this 3/4 of way to the street exit (there was not clear signage on beach stairs) and were trying get out as soon as possible to not disturb the guests. Literally 15 seconds in the place. This person (bartender at the time) came running at my family screaming at us in broken English (my family is all Italian besides me....he could have spoken Italian) tried to stop us from leaving to the street, swore at us in front of my 7 year old daughter, put his hands on my wife and threatened to call the police. All we wanted to do is leave as soon as possible. He actually locked us into the hotel and did not permit us to leave, pushing my wife and locking door to the outside. We escaped from this lunatic to the beach and called our family. People make mistakes. Look at any of my other reviews. I dont write reviews like this. Never have I seen treatment anywhere else in Italy....or anywhere else we have ever traveled for that matter. No owner/worker of any establishment has the right to put his hands on anyone. Mistakes happen....but physical assaults do not. My daughter was terrified. Talk about escalating a very simple mistake. Embarrassed himself in front of all his guests. Something wasnt right with him. Beware of this place

POOR MANAGEMENT ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD VERBALLY

They're all true...
unfortunately contrary to how I usually do I did not read the reviews before booking
I booked a room for one night only (fortunately), on arrival (1630 hours) they ask me if I checked in online, I say no, it's okay we do it now the manager tells me, then he asks us for documents, I answer that leaving the house for the rush I did not bring paper documents with me, does nothing tells me just that of his wife...
We are told that the following day having to leave the room by 10:30, we can safely take advantage of the beds placed in the lawn...
they assign us a room, when I enter I immediately smell a sewer, I alert the manager and shortly after an attendant arrives spraying a deodorant...
all 5 rooms are wooden bungalows, so small that not being able to place the chest of drawers they thought to create a step of "40" cm that you have to climb to go to bed... at night in the dark, I tripped and fell 2 times given the height not in accordance with 16 cm.
dangerous, because in case of fire at night I don't think there's a chance... HAVE THEY EVER HAD A FIRE OFFICER'S CERTIFICATE? BUT SAFETY?
at 15:00 I order a plate of fried potatoes, a gypsy and a sandwich specifying that I want them at a distance from each other.
after 2 'come the potatoes that already 'remained from the morning, had been heated, and dried, and at the same time the gypsy (two slices of bread 2 cm high each and very little ham and tomato) and the sandwich. to my request for explanations on why they had brought everything together the manager replies that their "kitchen" (back room check in run-down) closed at 15:00 I say that if he had told me I would have gone to one of the restaurants on the beach...
at 17:30 I ask for the bill and I notice that I am charged 10,00 euro x not having checked in online (something never seen before and not even noted on the site) also 30,00 euro that become 40,00 in July and 50,00 in August x the beds that the day before but also in the morning at breakfast, we had been assigned as guests of the hotel...
they reply in a roaring and threatening way that it was obvious that they were paid to know before I would go to one of the beaches avoiding the dangerous wooden staircase, x access the sea to swim...
Of course I'll be careful not to return to this den of profiteers

6 GG here, nothing to say, beautiful place, pool, sea...kindness of all staff! Great service and impeccable cleanliness You feel like home. Hearty breakfast with fresh pasta every morning.. on the terrace or in your room or wherever you wish!!
We also found Peppe our new 4-legged friend who kept us company every morning!! We have already booked for next year! Thanks to all the staff for pampering us.
