Residence Criro
Residence Criro offers apartments with panoramic views over the hills and sea of the Marche region. The beaches of Marina Palmense are a 10-minute walk away, and parking is free. The Criro's spacious apartments feature a living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, internet access and satellite TV. The residence includes a sauna and a Turkish bath. Each apartment has a private balcony overlooking the Adriatic Sea or the surrounding hills. The Sibillini Mountains can be seen in the distance. The restaurant has a menu with both meat and seafood dishes. The A14 motorway is just a short drive away from the residence. Public busses run nearby.

Relaxing holidays
Roberta, Cristina lovely people.
We will definitely return another time.
Highly Recommendation for a family holiday, couple etc... in my opinion suitable for anyone.

It is not a 4-star apartment!
The apartment is also very poorly organized: there were no shelves to put things on in the living room, and there was no closet in the children's rooms. Under the beds and on the nightstand where the TV is, I found dust, the remote control was dirty, the balconies were dirty, the sink on the balcony had a broken trap, the hood was not working, the outdoor table was dirty (it cleaned up slightly with a nighttime thunderstorm), and the toilet had a yellow line of limescale.
It is not a 4-star apartment!
The apartment had clean sheets; for the rest, I had the feeling that it was a backup apartment that was rarely used.

The worst vacation in the last 25 years. Apartment 1B absolutely inadequate
The main problem, and by far the most serious one in the middle of August, was the air conditioning.
The air conditioning in the apartment was, in fact, absolutely insufficient. In the kitchen, a very weak flow of air came out; in the bedroom, the system kept turning off. The result was an indoor temperature incompatible with a comfortable stay.
After reporting the severe discomfort, we were provided with a portable air conditioner/cooler. We appreciated the attempt to find a solution, but the device proved to be completely insufficient: at 9:00 PM, it was still 31 °C inside the apartment, as documented by the photograph I am attaching.
During the day, it was practically impossible to stay in the accommodation. For all ten days, we were forced to spend almost the entire day out, mainly at the beach, not by choice but because staying in the apartment with those temperatures was extremely unpleasant.
In the evening, the only option was to open the windows completely and hope there would be a bit of a breeze. However, this meant essentially giving up our privacy, which was particularly unpleasant considering it was a couple's vacation.
Sleeping well was just as difficult: with the windows necessarily open, a lot of light would come in as early as 5:30-6:00 AM. Shortly after, noises also began coming from the surrounding properties, including systems, equipment, and maintenance work or grass cutting. Between the heat, light, and noise, resting past that time often became impossible.
Unfortunately, the problem is not limited to the air conditioning.
The photographs I am attaching also show what, in our opinion, is a general state of the systems and equipment that urgently needs maintenance.
The water flow in the bathroom fixtures is extremely weak: just look at the photograph of the bidet. There is a visible crack in the bathroom sink. Furthermore, incrustations and deposits are visible in the bathroom fixtures, which certainly do not convey the impression of a property of the declared category.
The external units of the systems also show clear signs of oxidation and wear.
The so-called sofa bed, at least in apartment 1B, does not at all correspond to what I would personally expect from a real sofa bed: I am attaching a photograph in this case as well so that everyone can judge.
The television, on the occasions when we tried to turn it on, always indicated no signal. The kitchen burners also did not light properly: to use them, it was necessary to resort to a lighter or an external fire starter.
Taken individually, some of these problems might seem like small inconveniences. Put all together, and especially added to the impossibility of adequately cooling the apartment in the middle of summer, they completely compromised our stay.
The thing that leaves the most bitterness is that we chose this property by trusting the description and the very many extremely positive reviews. Evidently, there can be apartments in conditions very different from the one assigned to us; I cannot judge what I have not seen.
However, I can judge what I spent ten days in.
And I can state that apartment 1B, in the condition in which it was handed over to us, is very far from what I personally consider adequate for a property classified as four stars.
I am truly sorry to write this. I would have preferred to keep a completely different memory of this vacation and the people who hosted us.
But precisely because before booking we trusted the experiences recounted by others, I believe it is correct to recount ours with the same clarity.
As far as our experience in apartment 1B is concerned, the judgment can only be strongly negative.

I had fish and it was really tasty and fresh.
I will surely come back here.
It is an excellent option while having a sun bath at the beach.
