Weekend in Domodossola

After several restaurant searches in vain, we came across this place. Great welcome and the food is really good for a fair price. I recommend the cheese platter and the charcuterie platter. The little extra, a liqueur is served with the coffee.

Overall disappointing experience and, in my opinion, not worth the price charged.

The exterior of the building gives a rather uninviting and neglected first impression. The room, on the other hand, is tidy and fairly well-kept, but this is not enough to compensate for the numerous issues encountered.
The main problem was the heat: I recorded a temperature of about 34°C in the room. Without air conditioning or even a simple fan, sleeping was very difficult. Keeping the windows open was the only solution, but right below the room is a place where many people gather to smoke, with the smoke easily entering the room. Moreover, the music coming from outside remains quite noticeable.
Additionally, the management of breakfast left me perplexed. The shared breakfast room was already set up for the following morning, but I noticed that some guests had already taken advantage of the displayed fresh fruit. This does not convey a particular attention to the quality of service and the presentation of food.

• Structure: 3/10
• Breakfast: 4/10
• Value for money: 2/10
Overall, I do not feel comfortable recommending this establishment. With a cost of about 84 euros per night for one person, I expected significantly better comfort conditions, especially during the summer period.

Endless waiting

We were 2 people. The service is not efficient as only one person for the whole restaurant! We waited 30 minutes for the starter and then cancelled the rest of the meal! No sign of apology and nothing. Will not recommend the restaurant. I'm afraid it can't work that way.

Too bad.

I was visiting Domodossola and the appearance and from the menu I decide to have lunch in this grill restaurant.
The room as soon as we enter appears manicured and with a certain style, we sit down.
I have to say that the quality is there but many small details make the score go down , the paper towel when you pay 2.5 euros of blanket no , then we do not lack a wine list and those proposed were few and with prices all medium high and finally I need the wine of 40 euros in a glass that was chipped at the base. It would take a little more attention to detail as for the first course the Ossola gnocchi that although very good were served in an ice cream dish, so I ate the last cold.
Too bad there is a good place but it should be a little more cared for

Overrated

I chose to spend the evening with friends in a restaurant that seemed nice, but informal. We ordered main courses of meat - hamburger and fillet - which despite having a high price were served without any side dishes. I ordered as a side dish a plate of mixed grilled vegetables, which being of three different types - served in one dish - they charged us as we had three different side dishes each. The meat was good, but I would not recommend the experience, really sad that you lose customers for two zucchini.
