Featuring a free wellness centre with sauna and hot tub, Maison Cly is set in the centre of Chamois, the only traffic-free town in Italy. It is only reachable with the Buisson cable car. The Maison Cly is a charming property in wood and stone.

Always a pleasure to return

It is the fourth time we have returned to this hotel and it certainly won't be the last. A place that has now become a certainty for us, immersed in a wonderful landscape and with a truly welcoming atmosphere.
We stayed in a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the valley: a splendid view. Our two dogs also had a great time and were welcomed without any problems.
We chose half board and were very satisfied: varied, well-prepared dinners with quality dishes.
A positive note also for the dining room staff, all very young, willing, and always smiling. A few small oversights every now and then, but compensated for by their kindness and willingness to work.
After four stays we can say that we always return here very willingly. Until next time!

the terrace bar is a tourist trap

The restaurant-bar on the main square is the prototype of a "tourist trap," and many people rush there when getting off the cable car! Salad with a few slivers of cured ham, 2/3 bits of cheese, etc. It is better to get a bagel (€8) if you are coming back from a walk and are a little hungry. Aside from the location, there is no point.

Good hotel, but the dinner....

Nice hotel in a perfect location for various walks; the hotel has a good spa. The big problem is dinner. The dishes are of good quality and the presentation is also excellent, but given the cost of €40, the organization is unacceptable. We are 4 adults and two children and we are never able to eat dinner together; the dishes arrive randomly. (Usually, people at the table are served at the same time....) We sit down at 7:30 PM and we are never able to get up before 9:30 PM. The two children are always served later and at different times. Whatever you ask for, they forget it. Last night for example hamburgers and they themselves asked us if we wanted any sauce which we are still waiting for though. Asked for breadsticks, we are still waiting for those too. A mistake can happen but every night it is always the same story so it is not a question of a mistake but of completely flawed organization. Not to mention the cleanliness which leaves a little to be desired (the photo shows the towel warmer in the room which I think has not been cleaned for some time)

FAIRY-TALE STAY

There are places that you do not visit just once, but that enter your heart. For me, Maison Cly is exactly that. I return here every year with my son and my dog, and every time it is like coming home.
The beauty of Chamois is indescribable: breathtaking landscapes, silence, unspoiled nature, and an atmosphere that regenerates the soul.
The hotel is welcoming, well-kept, and immersed in a fairy-tale setting. The cuisine is simply excellent.
But what really makes the difference is the people. The friendliness, helpfulness, and sincere smiles of the staff make every guest feel welcome. Even my dog has always been welcomed with affection, and this has enormous value for me.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating a place where every year I leave a little piece of my heart… and where I can't wait to return.
