FANTOZZI-STYLE RANCH!
So get comfortable because this is a VERY NEGATIVE review but I have to explain everything from the beginning, otherwise I come across as the usual complainer....I'll start from the afternoon of Wednesday, August 5th, where I ask for info on the phone for the reservation and OBVIOUSLY the horseback ride, as well as for the restaurant (having read the reviews which, I don't know how, maybe friends of the owners or else we can't explain them, it's fabulous, you eat like a god, etc. etc.) I am answered by the lady's daughter that I will receive everything shortly via WhatsApp.....you will see from the photos that I had to write at nine in the evening to get this famous information, which is provided to me in response an hour later...oh well I say, they must be busy but anyway she answered, yes but about the ride and the restaurant absolutely nothing, at which point given the time I tell myself, okay tomorrow morning (Thursday the 6th) I will write to her again, how long could it ever take to give two indications regarding the times? As you will see in the photos, I write at 9 in the morning..did you get an answer? Well, nobody answered me even after a call..okay Friday the 7th, that is when we were supposed to leave, because from Rome it takes about an hour and 20 minutes, I call back to clarify and the girl's mother answers, telling me "ah so you are coming today? And at what time? And how many are you?" honestly I am a bit taken aback, I mean, people come to your facility who booked two days before and you don't know when or how many we are? fine, a misunderstanding can happen, anyway I reiterate the intention to book the ride and the restaurant. In all tranquility I am answered "well as for the restaurant there are no problems, we are always here anyway and there are two of you, while for the ride I'll let you know shortly" this at about 11...okay I thank her and meanwhile it's time to leave, it's 2:00 PM.
We arrive at about 3:30 PM (we haven't received any communication regarding the ride, let alone the restaurant) the place is completely deserted.....it looks closed for vacation! We try to find someone to meet us, knocking on the outer doors asking "excuse me," "is anyone there?" In response, only the echo, at which point I call the famous number again and it tells me unreachable... and I say to them, okay, we've been scammed, but I get called back, it's the lady who warns that she is arriving shortly (15 minutes of waiting), as soon as she arrives we go to reception, she explains a couple of little things and immediately makes us pay the bill for one night (€60, but the question is: where has it ever been seen that a facility makes you pay before even setting foot in the room? Bah) I repeat, we are simple people with few demands, so we adapt easily (besides, it was the last 3 days of vacation for my partner and I took Friday off), so we go to the room, which is not a room because it looks like the inside of a camper, but oh well, we said we are undemanding, the lady shows us everything and tells us "for anything you can call me," anyway, even if tiny, the rooms have what is needed... the famous smell of pee coming from the bathroom mentioned in more than a few reviews is nothing but acid, put in exaggerated quantities because it makes the stay truly disgusting precisely because it seems like pee! In all this, the lady leaves, leaving the facility empty again, and after about 10 minutes, since we didn't even talk about it in person, the famous horseback ride comes to mind... since "for anything call me," I call her to get some more information about it, answer... "but did you book?" at which point I got a bit annoyed and I think the lady understood it when I told her that I hoped so, since I've been asking to book since Wednesday the 5th! In the meantime, a summer storm begins, which we know lasts half an hour, and coincidentally, I get a mocking message that "the ride, due to bad weather, cannot take place!"... I'll try to continue below, I ran out of characters here... THE REVIEW IS NOT FINISHED, LOOK CAREFULLY!!!
At that point, I call the lady back, expressing the desire to leave the room, in which we hadn't even opened our bags, and furthermore, during the storm, it was raining in the small patio... truly ridiculous! Well, as soon as I explain our intentions to her, she immediately digs in her heels, saying "well, I can give you back part of the money because I still have to redo the room, and besides, you paid with a card so I pay taxes on it, then now I'm out and it will take me more than half an hour to get back, and if it rains, I can't predict that" well, we wait for this half hour... in the meantime, a couple of young people our age arrive with a little kid of 3 or 4 years old with their parents, meanwhile the sun had come out and the day was good again, so we greet this little family and ask if they were also waiting for the ride, and they answer us with a nice "let's hope!" here too, you know that other guests arrive with a child, moreover, always 15 minutes of waiting, you know what she cares, it's not her facility, or rather, excuse me, the RANCH, as they call it... if we had seen the horses, maybe, maybe, there was ONLY ONE horse at the end, in a 3mt x 4 enclosure (evidently the standard is that, like the "rooms") without a stable hand, they leave and it's unknown if this beast eats, if it drinks, if it needs anything, RANCH, oh well... anyway, the lady does her usual welcome, the couple enters, and after 2 minutes on the clock, the gentleman comes back out saying that he was getting angry because the horseback ride would not be done either in the afternoon or the next day, because the horses had to leave!! Shortly after, the rest of the family comes out saying that MAYBE they would have done something, ah, so now the horses pop up?! N.B. they were coming from San Giovanni Rotondo!! Okay, it's our turn, we go in and the lady starts by repeating that she is sorry she cannot predict the weather, blah blah blah, but for heaven's sake, nobody expects such a thing, we would be idiots to do so, but a minimum of professionalism, yes, that I do expect! Since my partner and I frequent stables, when there are rides and there is a scheduled time, for example 6:00 PM? Okay, it's 5:50 PM, it's pouring rain, I'm sorry, the ride is canceled, okay, that's understandable, but for me to call at 5:00 PM when the storm is almost over and be asked if I booked, when I've been asking to book since Wednesday, and immediately after, a mocking message arrives saying that since it's raining everything is canceled, no! I won't stand for it! At that point the Lady—and it is not by chance that I write it in capital letters—takes €20 out of the register to give back to me... but what am I, the grandson you give pocket money to for going to the beach? To me, those €20 are an insult!! Since not even a shadow of a horse was seen, we had just entered the room and perhaps sat on the bed, that puddle they call a pool was obviously raining so we didn't use it, of the kitchen/restaurant not even a waiter, a tablecloth, nothing, I would have been curious to see what they would have served us for dinner, and you give me €20? Not even half, at least to play the part! If she had been a Lady, she would have given us everything back, or at least you keep the €20 to redo the room, or you offer us dinner, I don't know, something to make amends, but it was obvious that she didn't care at all about anything. Having said that, sorry if I rambled, but it was necessary to explain everything and make it clear to those who go to see the reviews that there is now a dishonesty and lack of professionalism that is, to say the least, FRIGHTENING! I mean, in the end, we left from Rome to gift €60 to these VERY TALENTED RAAAANNCCHHH MANAGERS! Well, congratulations!! You should be ashamed, and I am also referring to the reviews "BEWARE OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS," yeah right! And I swear that we started with all the good intentions, taking the negative or slightly negative reviews as just people complaining... today I apologize to them and I understand the discomfort that these incompetent people create... then we complain that there is little work, that Italians go abroad... these people make people run away! TRULY TERRIBLE TOTAL INEPTITUDE! NEVER AGAIN, YOU ARE PATHETIC!

to be avoided
negative experience .... it was presented as a bungalow... but in reality, they were cramped modules, material similar to plywood, with very little space both inside and outside... muggy area... even the cost of 50.00 euros for one night is not worth it.... highly unrecommended....

Bad experience
On Easter Monday I was in this place with family and friends. The menu was presented well, but it was learned sadly that the portions were novel things. Lre make the idea the first included three packets of pasta number. The appetizer three slices of ham... that's all. Set menu with starter, first, second and dessert of the house. Euro 35.00 but the portions are really non-existent. After lunch, we should go home and cook some more. I ate in many places paying 15 euros a set menu where at least they brought you a plate of pasta. For me it was a good tease this treatment. You can't present a course like that, unless you have at least one Michelin star. Not recommended.
