THE WATCHWORD IS HOSPITALITY

We have always come to this wonderful place for relaxation and walks in search of new places to discover; hospitality is the watchword at the Markushof. We have been coming and staying here for years now and can consider ourselves part of the family; an enchanting place where you can relax by taking a dip in the pool or simply reading a book in their solarium relaxation area. We have always had a magnificent time; from the very beginning, Paola, with her welcoming nature and friendliness, made us feel at home. Markus is always available for anything, always proposing new culinary ideas; he is truly a special man, as is his whole family. The rooms have been structured to give a sense of lightness and are very spacious, very bright, and welcoming. With this view in front of the pool, especially in the evening, it is something beautiful. Their cuisine is truly delicious; they always offer new dishes in the spirit of a real vacation in Trentino. My favorites are the fantastic dumplings in broth. And for dessert, my favorite is the Sacher cake, a delicious recipe. I conclude by adding that we have been coming to you for years and we never tire of the hospitality and beauty of the splendid Markushof.

Dream Vacation in Auer

We spent our Whitsun vacation at Hotel Markushof from May 25 to May 31, 2026. We booked a double room with half board and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean, the staff very accommodating, and the senior owner and his wife greeted us personally every day. We were particularly impressed by the new pool area; the facility is very well-maintained, and there were plenty of loungers for relaxing. The room was comfortable, the beds very good, the breakfast diverse, and the four-course dinner in the evening featured regional delicacies, with the regional dishes always explained to us during the selection, freshly cooked and very fine. The service was excellent. The junior manager was also very accommodating and friendly in the evening. Overall, a perfect place for relaxation and unwinding. We would gladly return and can only recommend the hotel.

Ideal campsite!

A small, family-run campsite that leaves nothing to be desired.
Beautiful pitches, clean, spacious, beautiful sanitary facilities. Washing machines and dryers, etc.
The location is ideal, close to the center with good public transport connections.
Suitable for active sports enthusiasts and "connoisseurs".
We always enjoy staying with the Graiff family.

Camping at its finest

Very nice place - hotel and campsite are connected. Perfectly located with supermarket and restaurants - everything within walking distance. The plots are very large, everything is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are super clean, comfortable and modern. There is nothing to complain about here. The cycle path is right outside the door and Bolzano is not far. The South Tyrol card that you get invites you to take the train and drive and explore the area. Everything is highly recommended - we will be back.

Good quality hotel in a lovely village, with lots to offer

First comment is, the sleep quality was very good. Large, clean and quiet bedroom. Good sized TV but no English language channels, maybe we were just unlucky.
Rooms do not have air-con or a fridge, but the room was on the side facing away from the sun. A good sized outside swimming pool and a very good restaurant. Plenty of parking.
The hotel grounds also have a excellent caravan park. Lots of local shops with a bakery just across the road. A great place to stay for visiting the many local attractions.
Large shower with lots of space and a hair dryer.
