More like personal apartment!

I was not expecting to walk into an apartment for our airbnb. Be prepared to pay cash on sight! Luckily I had enough with me for the 3 nights. Very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped! Theres a supermarket right down the street. Its a 10 minute walk into town. Feels longer after a long day in the sun, no biggie though. Met some people from all around the world and we all cooked dinner!

Extra fees

The place is ok, but prepare yourself to pay more then the price on your reservation. I was charged 50€ extra: 30€ for late check-in (after 19:30) and 20€ cleaning fee. Also the communication by email and SMS was not satisfactory. In total, it is a bit too expensive for the conditions that it offers.

DONT GO THERE

There are several appartments,choose whisely. we stayed in via Matteotti 12.Its more like a hostel then an appartement as you share 1 horrible old bad equipped kitchen with 2 disgusting fridges and 3 new bathrooms with 5 (!!!) other rooms and maybe 5- 15 or 20 people.We never saw the owner they( or the company) leaded us with on the phone and opened from far away - quite strange.They' re not interestet in you as a guest.We booked a double room with balcony and air conditioning and got a 4 bed room without air conditioning or balcony.Noone wanted to be responsible for this mistake, they gave the fault to booking. The only good thing was that we could reach the citycenter of nice Alghero in a 15 minutes walk.

My Home For 10 Day's In Alghero!

Really Enjoyed My Stay Here...The Apartment Is Spacious...My Room Was The Same With A Balcony...The Common Areas And Kitchen Were Perfect For Meeting Fellow Travelers...The Location For Me Was Authentic And Close Enough To Get To The Water And Old Town...Grocery And Butcher Shop Close By For Supplies...The Owner And Staff Were Fantastic And Helpful With Whatever I Needed...Bang For Buck...You Just Can't Beat It...

One night stay.

First of all I do not think I have ever met a more friendly and attentive hosts as to sharing his knowledge of the area . He advised us to go to Capa Caccio and then onto the beaches up near Stantino , both incredible places. We tried to visit the restaurant but it was booked up , but we were so happy with what he gave us. It was 39euro for the night so we didn't expect much and everything was fine until we encountered a problem . He had told us to park the car in the shopping centre , a word of advise to future visitors. DO NOT , they chain the gates shut and we were left stranded in the car park that night as we were planning to leave. I tried to call the host a few times but nobody picked up. We were stranded and the only way out of the car park was closed , so I had to hold up the chain while my partner creeped our rental car under it scraping the top of the roof . We are waiting to hear from the rental company about damages , so all in all it was a catch 22 situation. Great host , OK accomadation , nightmare ending.
