Nice designer hotel but too many people in the quality spa

Beautiful designer hotel but rooms are too small and too many people in the spa, which is certainly very well equipped with several saunas, several relaxation rooms, several spas.... but too many people. The hotel is beautiful, nice design, staff very friendly and very smiling. Good restaurant that faces the sea

I bought a spa treatment for myself and my girlfriend and it's the worst thing I've ever spent money on. First and foremost, the massage was bad. And the other thing was that the lady asked me if I wanted a head massage, I clearly said no because I don't want the oil in my hair. She tries and does it and I say no again, and she does it again. My hair was completely ruined by that oil.

Cosy staff at the hotel
The spa was ok with various saunas, and a medium “pool”. Nice to be able to use the spa as much as we would now at the end of the holiday.Eated Lunch at the restaurant, which was a disappointment.
Expensive too. Not as expected.

Spa on the Road

We arrived late in the afternoon and had a slot in the spa from 17-18. We parked in the garage, and took the elevator up at the reception. Check-in went quickly and we got good information about the facilities and how it worked. We picked up bathrobes, towels and slippers, went up to the room and changed us. The Spa itself was a little downturn. I thought it was bigger and with more choices. There was a small pool with lots of massage spylars. Then they had a hot tub and a sauna. In addition, they had two small pools you could wash in (up to your knees). One was hot and one was cold. Then walk through one, then through the other. It was a little good. After about 45 minutes we were satisfied. This with the fact that you get provided “slots” in the bathroom, they were not so strict with. It was only to have an overview of the load in the bathroom. I’ve visited many hotels that don’t advertise as a spa, but have a larger selection of spa facilities. What was there was good. Should I pull something down, it must be the smooth floor. If you are unstable/ bad for bents, it is a risky sport to move in the bathroom. I don't know the price if you only use the bathroom, but should you stay overnight and park the car in the garage, it quickly exceeds the travel budget.

Worth experiencing

Everyone must try their Aufguss! Incredible experience that made the whole spa experience for us. The rooms could use a renovation, but were still ok. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The only minus was the restaurant on the ground floor which had extremely expensive food for what you got, I would recommend to look over other restaurants to visit in Larvik to get more and better food at cheaper money. I’m super happy with the spa experience and also the location of the hotel, just incredible to sleep with a little open window and hear the sea smash into the beach. Would like a little longer to spend during their spa slot to discover more aufguss etc. Overall top class!

Tusen takk for en hyggelig tilbakemelding! Det er utrolig gøy å lese at dere hadde et fint opphold hos oss, og at særlig Aufguss-ritualene, den avslappende atmosfæren og beliggenheten ved sjøen gjorde opplevelsen ekstra minnerik.
