This guest house is a 5-minute walk from Oberstdorf town centre, and just 100 metres from hiking and skiing trails. All rooms feature balconies overlooking the Bavarian Alps.

very nice but pricey

very clean, quiet bed and breakfast type hotel. rooms functional, a bit run down furniture and appliances but clean. you'll need a minute to level with the "how to" of this place but it really pays off. amazing breakfast, small fridge in the room at our disposal, additional "party" room with cold drinks (very reasonably priced!!), coffee machine and a selection of games and puzzles which proved to be great to entertain our little one. it comes in pricey I have to say.

A dream vacation at the perfect bed and breakfast

Love the location, loved the bed-and-breakfast feel, and Toasten is the best host you'll find. in what feels like the most perfect town of all of Germany. During the day you can visit castles, during the evening you can have an amazing dinner at the local restaurants where there are vast options from vegetarian burgers to curry worst. We did our morning runs on the local path that crosses over into Austria and back. Everything was so beautiful it looked fake. In the morning the bakery up the block (walking distance) had the most amazing pastries and opened up at least by six am. if we have the chance we will definitely go back and relive what was an amazing vacation. Definitely stay at this perfect bed and breakfast ran by the nicest host with great English skills too, even though he doesn't think he speaks well. Toasten thank you for everything.

Fantastic, clean family-run hotel

Bergidyll was one of the simplest, quietest and cleanest hotels I've seen. Family run with friendly hosts. A bit like a large well-polished bed and breakfast (which is included). Comfortable beds, nice showers, good food. Emaculate crisp clean linens. Nice tips from the owner for sightseeing like a local. Lean and mean and focused on core functionality. Good price too. They email us twice a year to say hello. I'd look forward to returning.

Tolles, ruhiges Hotel, zentrumsnah mit freundlichem Personal

Wir waren dort als Familie, in einer Apartment-Wohnung.
Das Hotel war sauber und die Atmosphäre war familiär.
Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, nahe dem Zentrum und der Buslinie aber dennoch sehr ruhig.
Die Aussicht auf die Berge ist hervorragend.
Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus.
Das WLAN ist gut.
Im Keller gibt es eine gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum mit der Möglichkeit Kaltgetränke und Kaffee zu kaufen.
Besonders zu erwähnen ist die sehr freundlich „Frühstücksdame“.
Sie nimmt sich die Zeit, mit jedem Gast ein paar freundliche Worte zu wechseln
und ist sehr bemüht, dass kein Frühstückswunsch offenbleibt.
Das ist der perfekte Start in den Tag.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Personal sehr freundlich

Schönes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Frühstück übersichtlich aber gut, wird von einer äußerst netten Dame serviert. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. In Oberstdorf kann man alles zu Fuß erreichen, für alles andere sind Auto, Fahrrad o. Ä. notwendig.
