Excellent service
Excellent service. The breakfast buffet very rich and varied. the attention in the restaurant and the pool of Alvaro and Martin very good.
Ask for promotions. They're really good.

Beautiful hotel with huge potential, but it misses the details.
We booked a room with a kitchen, but there wasn’t a single piece of kitchen equipment when we arrived. We had to ask four times before anything was delivered, and it took more than 24 hours. Even then, the kitchen was still not fully equipped.
When we checked in, the sofa bed hadn’t been made and there weren’t enough towels in the room. These are small things, but they’re also basic expectations.
The room with the sofa bed had no blackout curtains, making it difficult to sleep. We also asked for a duvet for the sofa bed, but were told there wasn’t one available.
Our room wasn’t cleaned for the first three days. When we mentioned it, we were told the hotel was fully booked and that cleaning would take longer. The room was finally cleaned at around 7:00 p.m. on the third day.
We had a private plunge pool, but the outdoor area was cold, uninviting, and poorly maintained. We never used it during our stay. Even simple maintenance, like removing the weeds, would have made a big difference.
We also recommend skipping the restaurant. The food was overpriced and disappointing. We didn’t try the breakfast buffet because it looked very limited, especially considering the high price. Even the atmosphere felt lacking—small details, such as the music, could have made it much more enjoyable.
We stayed over New Year’s Eve, and it was disappointing that the hotel didn’t make any effort to create a festive atmosphere or offer something special for the occasion.
The hotel is located a bit outside the main areas, so we strongly recommend renting a car. Taxis in Tulum are expensive, and getting around without a car quickly becomes inconvenient.
Overall, this hotel feels like it has lost sight of what makes a stay memorable. It is stunning to look at and has enormous potential, but it needs to focus much more on its guests and the overall experience.
With more attention to service, maintenance, and the small details, this could become an outstanding hotel. Right now, however, it simply isn’t there yet.

A lousy stay
We hired a stay of 9 days (Booking 225175519) and lived a nightmare:
❌ No running water in the rooms.
❌ No elevator or WiFi (4 star non-compliance).
❌ Cancelled breakfast paid for mid-stay without refund.
❌ We were left without light and separated as a family.
The hotel admits to failings but refuses to refund the money, offering "free nights" that we can't use because we're foreigners. We demand compliance with Article 92 bis of the Consumer Protection Act! @Profeco @WyndhamHotels help ensure that this abuse does not go unpunished.

HORRENDOUS STAY WITH TOTAL INDIFFERENCE FROM THE HOTEL. An embarrassment of establishment
1. List of incidents
Throughout the stay, the establishment incurred systematic failures that violated the habitability and the service contract:
Absent Basic Services: Total lack of WiFi and lack of elevator operation for 9 days, breaching accessibility standards and hotel category (4 stars).
Critical Infrastructure Failures: On 17 March, an electrical failure forced a forced relocation that fragmented the family group. On 23 March, both rooms (121 and 223) were left without a water supply.
Non-compliance with the Maintenance Scheme: On March 19, the hotel unilaterally suspended breakfast service citing a "rebranding".
Neglect of Care: Complaints were sent via WhatsApp and email (March 23 to Management) without getting a response. The hotel offered "extra nights" as compensation, a proposal formally rejected as unfeasible for foreign tourists with closed flights. No economic alternative or refund was offered on site.
2. Legal bases
This claim is based on the following points:
Breach of Contract: Lack of provision of paid services (breakfast and WiFi) and alteration of agreed conditions.
Lack of Habitability and Security: Lack of light and water, combined with inoperability of the elevator and lack of assistance in room transfers, pose a risk to integrity and a violation of civil protection standards.
Bad Faith and Enrichment Without Cause: The provider acknowledges the faults in writing but refuses financial restitution, maintaining the charge for unearned services.
Consumer Rights: Infringement of the rights of information and quality established in current legislation.
--> We never heard back from the hotel.

I wouldn't choose him again.
While the hotel is not bad, it is a fairly new building, I would not recommend staying here. There are many better alternatives.
The family swimming pool, where children are allowed has not a single umbrella to be able to rest in the loungers, I have applied on 2 occasions and they tell me they do not have. But they don't provide a solution.
In the adult pool, they have only 2 umbrellas and with children we can not use that area.
The location is also not the best, it is 500 meters away from the av. coba and at night that stretch has no light and the street is under repairs, so the same hotel also does not recommend to do this journey walking in the dark.
The hotel in its ethical sign says Jacuzzi and play center, also not available.
Our experience has not been the best, if you can stay elsewhere.

Respecto a la iluminación y las obras en las calles cercanas, comprendemos que esto puede afectar la percepción de accesibilidad durante la noche. Si bien se trata de trabajos externos al hotel por parte del gobierno municipal, continuaremos orientando a nuestros huéspedes sobre las mejores opciones de transporte en la zona.
También lamentamos la confusión generada por algunas amenidades mencionadas en la señalética, ya por la misma situación, no se mencionan dichos servicios en ningun canal de venta/descripción/promoción para evitar cualquier confusión previo a la reserva.
Valoramos sinceramente sus comentarios y esperamos tener la oportunidad de mejorar su percepción en una futura visita a Wyndham Tulum.
