Lovely boutique hotel

Quirky, Comfy and Friendly

What a wonderful place to stay, very quirky in its decoration, wonderful warm staff. Annie the owner is lovely, with lots of family stories and Sagar & Annabelle were always helpful and friendly. The associated cafe has a great vibe, with afternoon music and great food and drinks. Casa Asti is a 10 minute walk to the bus staion and is in the heart of the old city.
Downside lots of stairs and no lift for those that may have accessibility issues and while rooms were nice the bathrooms smelt a bit damp. Otherise a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend if you like the comfy quirky things in life.

Well located for a short stop in Valletta, but not suitable for a longer stay

We spent 8 days at Casa Asti in the Frans suite on the 4th floor, up 16 flights of steps (there’s no lift). The room was spacious and clean, but with curious omissions. Even though it was a larger room, there were no chairs at all. If you made a cup of tea, you had to perch on the bed to drink it. No mini refrigerator, which was a nuisance for a longer stay and no television. By far worse, was the interminable noise. There’s a cafe downstairs, open most days from 9.30, and some evenings and there’s a constant drone of music from downstairs, plus a big construction site nearby. If you’re here for a few days, or a Monday when the cafe is closed, it’s quite pleasant and the charming 93 year old owner and her staff are sweet, but if you want a place you can relax in away from the bustle, this isn’t it.

Charming and well located

Perfect location and quirkily decorated with a lot of charm. Property has no lift and lots of winding stairs and corridors so would not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

The best cafe in Valletta.

This is the most special café in Valletta. A charming place with excellent food, my favourite was the Tiramasu.
