Compliments to Fazli and Jean. Great example of class A customer service

Fazli the operations manager and Jean from customer service are just amazing. We had a v bad night on the first but they immediately sympathies with our predicament and made everything right for us
Hotel is well kept and location is great. View is lovely and their suite room has a full size fridge with expresso machine.
3 bathrobes and nice bag to go to the pool. Will support their charity incentive by buying the bags from them

Total silence and therefore a gorgeous dream

The manager at the check-in improving , according to the rules for platinum clients, we got a room probably the best in the hotel large room with a living room almost at the top, on the 20th floor with a beautiful view of the sea and the city. Or rather, at first we were given a worse number, but at my insistent request ))))) issued this particular one. It's a lovely bed. Total silence and therefore a chic dream with tight curtains. They pumped the pillows like rubber, too tight. A huge foyer on the front desk. It's always been a little uncomfortable cold here and in the restaurant. I had to dress better for breakfast. Breakfast is good. The products are varied. The staff is helpful. Two days for the New Year's Eve didn't clean up very well. But after calling the manager, they fixed it. The downtown hotel can be reached by foot by two large malls and half the city's attractions. Taxis are inexpensive, so we never recognized how public transport runs here. There's only one complaint. For hotel furniture and equipment, the best times are clearly long gone. Good repairs and modernization are required.

Friendly hotel box with great views and good breakfast

You have to know what you want here: this is a big, somewhat impersonal box that likes to deal with corporate events and weddings. Nevertheless, it also has advantages for private travelers: on the upper floors you have a spectacular view of the city and the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the Consierge service also works wonderfully. Breakfast is excellent with a huge selection at the large buffet.
There are deductions at the room service which we go 5:30 in the evening. Partly also sacrificing cleanliness, but rather in the hallways, our room was tip top.
To sum up: absolutely ok for 1-2 days!

Nice, Modern, Hotel, Great Location

The Pullman Miri Waterfront is an ideal hotel for a business visit. It is a relatively new hotel that is well maintained with large comfortable rooms (and nice views). Breakfast is excellent. I didn’t use them, but the pool and gym are nice. The hotel is at walking distance to restaurants, shops and the office.

NIghtmare!

Another nightmare in this hotel. Stayed in February and April this year.
February - hotel does not provide drinking mineral water anymore but instead filtered water in the toilet. Grab the coffee cup to fill the water and to my surprise there was coffee/stain in the cup. Grab the second cup and it's the same. Unreal. The housekeeping in the hotel is so poor. Evening cocktail is a letdown. Ran out of mint leaves so unable to make mojito. Serving cold meat on my mee kolok and the laksa broth is warm not hot during breakfast at lounge.
It was a few days before CNY. And to my horror, the hotel put up CNY and Raya decoration together side by side. Are you kidding me? Raya is 1 month after CNY and it is not even CNY yet and they have already put up Raya deco. I have not seen this anywhere else in the mall nor hotel unless both CNY and Raya is closed by. Pure laziness.
April - have brought the cold meat on top mee kolok served during breakfast up many times and it's still happening. Just never changed. Not sure if it's stubbornness or just don't care. Same thing with the sauna operating hours. When you mentioned operating hours is from 0630 hrs, hotel guest is expecting the sauna to be hot by then and not to wait 1 hr for the sauna room to be hot. Brought this up many times too and still same. Towel in my room has few big holes on it. Can't believe they are giving this to the hotel guest for usage.
Brought all this matters up to the GM (he left in Feb/Mar) and to the OM. What i got is sorry. This is not our standard. Never ever make an effort to make it up to me. Hopeless hotel.
Jean - we spoke. Just don't reply saying things that brings no value. Up your game and make an effort to make it up back to me for my future stay.
