Functional

Deims is a standard economy hotel, no frills, but sufficiently comfortable and in an excellent location. Good points – it is clean, breakfast is good, service is very pleasant. Location is unbeatable – in the centre of the town. It also offers very convenient and safe parking in their courtyard. And room price is really economy level.
Bad points are few and not really significant. Bed lamp did not switch on in my room and rooms facing the street are somewhat noisy.

TSSR times

If you never been in hotel than that will do other wise most horrible place to stay. Squeaky beds with old mattress, noisy location and a lot of locals drinking in bar outside and shouting. If you really tight on money that will do but other wise would not recommend. Carpet and curtains never been cleaned. I had two dead flies on floor for over a week. Breakfast- not sure if that was breakfast or more of a snack with lady texting all the time rather cleaning up dirty plates from area. You might not even get coffee in the morning cause they too busy with they phones.

Old and not very welcoming

The first impression entering the hotel is nice, but we were met by not so kind receptionist. The room was smelly but warm. Sheets and carpet had spots. Room was not cosy at all. As this is 3 star hotel, there were no hairdryer in the room.
Breakfast was neutral. Hotel is noisy, because you can hear you neighbours and anyone walking in the corridor.
Hotem is in the main street, arround 10 minutes from Tourism information and museum.

Excellent!! Great Stay

We were travelling to Lithuania for friends wedding. 5 of us and we found this hotel on a website. Got there at 8am they checked us in rooms available straight away. Breakfast served for us. Rooms were spacious and clean. Everything was clean from top to bottom. Great reception and restaurant on site with bar. Parking also available. Staff at hotel were great. We were there for one night as driving back to Riga next day. This is a great hotel to stay

Basic

Overall it is not impressive but it is suitable for sleeping. The beds might be a little too soft for some people. The room, however, was very warm, it had not only the normal heaters that use hot water but also an electric heater. The water smelled a little funny and the bar of soap was not very generous.. Free internet was available. Breakfast was quite disappointing, I was left a little hungry but then again I eat more than the average person. It was quite varied and may include something you dislike for your choice of breakfast. Also, breakfast was served at 7:30 which, for a business trip, I would prefer to go a little earlier, like 7:00. The staff's level of english was quite low except for one of them.
