Az ingyenes Wi-Fi-t kínáló Vingis épülete Marijampolė városában található. A nemdohányzó szálláshely 47 km-re található a punszki Litván Szabadtéri Parktól. A szálloda minden szobájában íróasztal és síkképernyős TV található.

Beautiful location
It was somewhat of a choir to find this hotel as it is located outside the town in the countryside. But once we arrived, the view and surroundings were incredibly beautiful. Located on the bank of a river in the country side, you feel that you are in some country resort. The weather was great when we arrived and we sat in comfortable chairs on the back patio enjoying and beautiful sunset.
Now to the hotel. There is no elevator so if you have luggage then be prepared to do the lifting yourself. The one girl who checked us in was later our waitress in the restaurant. It seemed that the whole place is run by a single person at the time. The building itself reminded me of the old Soviet style hotels. The room was good, the WiFi worked. We used the restaurant for dinner (nothing else is around for miles) and the food was good. Breakfast was below the ones that we got in other hotels in the Baltics.

Worst place ever visited
The surrounding area is cool, but no indications to arrive.
Free wifi, but not working or doing pretty bad. No lift. No minibar. They don’t do room cleaning everyday. No gym. Inside the room it is bloody hot. Heaters closed, and after asking in reception for switching off heated floor, the answer is: “Open the window”.
If I open the window an unbearable stink comes from outside.
Very poor quality, chinese, toiletries.
Regarding to laundry, no prices list.
And apart from all above, very poor English level.
I’m not coming back.

Beautiful place
Very nice place. Beautiful surroundings and friendly people. Very good price / quality and tasty breakfast.
Nice, clean and big rooms. Will definitely come back.
Negative is no lift, so no need for gym after putting the luggage upstairs.

The hotel is O.K. for overnight stay, if you are smart enough to find the right way to reach it.
I booked the hotel in advance and choose it because of good reviews and location. The problems started under way, when I arrived in Marijampole. From the beginning I let the GPS to lead. Until I came to place, where sign "dead end" surprised me. It was when a few kilometers still left until the hotel. From the beginning I decided just to choose "detour", but my GPS told me "no detour available". Then I decided to take any larger parallel street and continue in the same direction. I drove my car a few kilometers, but still side streets were decorated with the same sign "dead end". I stopped my car and took out the paper with printed route, which I prepared at home using google maps. The route was different, but ended with the same sign "dead end". Unfortunately my mobile phone was not working and I became already worried. Then I decided to make another "blind detour" driving my car with a larger loop through outskirts of the town. Fortunately the GPS started to show me the new route at one moment... Unfortunately the route ended within living houses at roadside greenery. But - what a delight - it was possible to see the hotel behind privacy and kitchen gardens. So, after some 1/2 hour driving around and asking at the gas station, I found the right way (quite bumpy) to reach the hotel. When I asked the receptionist, why they are in such occlusive condition, I was answered something like "oh, thats nothing, they are doing some digging and road construction works for already one and half year..." The receptionist and the waitress in the restaurant both were quite friendly, but I was wondering - if the usual road to the hotel is not available for more than year, why administration of the hotel is not warning their guests and is not providing everyone, who is booking their hotel with instructions how to reach them? I was not only guest there. Maybe other guests are using smarter GPS devices? Finally I got some local beer and toasted bread with cheese and free wifi. Everything was quite good. The breakfast was prepared at agreed time - not much of selection, but quite enjoyable. If not the problems with going there, I would say that it was a good price/quality ratio.

Wonderfull place
Hotel is in park with view towards a river. Wonderfull place to stay on the way to/from Germany. Rooms are big and good. Personal friendly. They were accepting us to check in even after midnight.
Just hard to find. But worth it.
