Top-notch service and experience
Musherib Hotel in Doha is the real deal! It's like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. The rooms are super comfy, and the views? You won't believe your eyes. You can practically see the whole city from up there! And the staff? They're like your best buddies, always ready to help with a smile. But let's talk about the food. I'm still dreaming about the scrumptious dishes I had at their restaurant – a foodie's paradise, seriously. Plus, the location is on point. You're right in the heart of the action. So if you're looking for a top-notch stay in Doha, Musherib Hotel is the place to be, no doubt!

Congratulations, You’ve Perfected Rudeness!
Thought I was in for a decent stay. The staff kindly offered me a late checkout when i called in the night to receptionist (Adnan) — how thoughtful, right? Well, enter the manager (Mahamad), who apparently runs the place and doesn't even know H of Hospitality. He called in at 11:30am and when i informed that I was given late checkout he said NO, you don't understand? System will charge you automatically. When asked him to check with staff he replied " Staff is sleeping, Do you understand what i am saying". with all the charm of a brick wall.
It’s almost impressive how one person can undo the goodwill of an entire team in seconds. If the goal was to make guests feel unwelcome, mission accomplished. Honestly, why bother training staff to be accommodating if the manager is just going to stomp all over it?
To all the OTA : If you enjoy listing hotels where managers treat guests like inconveniences rather than customers, this one’s a shining example.

Not impressed
Toilet not working properly. Bathroom floods when you have a shower, no door. Expensive hotel for 5 nights. Towels clean and bedding but the general lack of housekeeping all around not good.

STAFF WITH BAD ATTITUDE
1. Very bad arrival experience despite many staff watching without extending any assistance.
2. Upon checking in, the staff (picture attached) was very rude and he was chewing gum.
3. The staff sarcastically told me that I will give you a very good room only to find myself facing a construction site with extensive noise pollution.
4. When I checked into the room the safe box wasn't working and the instructions were wrong. When I called for assistance an out-source employee came and told me that all safe boxes should have the same code which is: 123456A. I told him there was no safety and proceeded to the reception and spoke to the same staff again and was told that was their standard. I urge #Qatartourismauthority to look into this matter.
5. On my 6th night I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my friend to pick me up and I noticed that there are many illegal things happening at the hotel. The same receptionist pointed at me from a distance as I was sitting down and asked me "you! What's your room number"? How can he not recognize a guest who has stayed for 6 nights especially when there weren't many guests in the hotel?
6. The same reception staff smokes at the entrance and throws his cigarette butts on the stairs and the drive way. At the end your Housekeeper has to clean it.
7. Breakfast staff and food is a disaster! I ordered Green tea, one day in came in a pot and another day it came by cup. There is no standard! The only 2 guys who actually provided good service were Hamdi from the restaurant and Mr. Doole from Housekeeping.

Great location for exploring Doha
The biggest plus point for this hotel is the location. It is in close proximity to Doha Hamad airport so a taxi is inexpensive. The Musherib metro station is literally a two minute walk away so access from the airport by Metro is easy and this also helps for exploring the city (the Musherib station connects to every line on the network). There isn't an abundance of restaurants immediately by the hotel but the Souk and other hotel restaurants and bars are only a pleasant ten minute walk away. I've seen some negativity about the staff in other reviews. I found them to be friendly when we asked for a taxi or directions (taxi always arrived immediately). Our friend was staying in a different hotel but landed early morning. They allowed her to leave her bag at the hotel which was a nice touch. Top tip is the room doesn't get cleaned unless you put the sign on the door requesting this, it took us a couple of days to realise. There was a small leak in the bathroom from the room above as well. Overall though yes it's a bit basic but as we stayed during the World Cup we were pleased to have a very sizeable room with comfy beds and a separate lounge area. 3/5 and with a bit of a refurbishment could easily push 4 with the excellent location.
