Good venue for a relaxed evening meal.

The Eythorpe is a family friendly restaurant.
Staff are very welcoming.
Nothing is too much trouble.
Asked what we would like to drink.
Then choices were made from the menu.
All food came out together, hot and well presented.
Well done to the kitchen staff.
Louise our waitress was extremely helpful and made the evening a relaxing time.

Comfy beds, hot showers and a spectacular view! Decor is somewhat from the 1980s and food in the restaurant/bar is limited and pricey, but given the price of a room, it has what you need and is super convenient to access the activities/trails on the icefields parkway.

Would definitely recommend

A little apprehensive after reading some reviews but we really liked it here. Don’t expect a modern room but it is very clean and comfortable. We liked sitting outside admiring the amazing view and just seeing what was happening round about in the world. The staff are friendly.
We ate in the pub. We had really delicious steaks and liked cooking these ourselves at the grill. You can easily get advice if you don’t know how to BBQ. The salad bar was delicious. We felt it was only the drinks which were overpriced. The food was good value for money considering the quality.

Not worth the money!

What an overpriced dump! Even with the "Spring Fling" deal, the prices are way more than it's worth. The motel rooms are worn out garbage and should be torn down. You can see light all the way around the door because the weather stripping is shot. The included buffet breakfast was horrid and cold. We would have been angry if we had paid $30 a person. So many safety concerns. Rm 203 had a nail sticking out of a coat hanger that cut me. Slivers from the handrail on the staircase outside. The step down from the deck sinks an inch and a half when you step on it. Enough said. We will not return.

A view to die for

I love this place. Yes it is dated but the furniture is wood not ikea and the rooms have a charm of their own.
It is clean, comfortable and the best views ever.
I sat on the deck with a cup of wine and could not have thought of anything better.
