Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park and Holywell Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Bob Marley Museum and Hope Zoo. Peter Tosh Museum and Trench Town Culture Yard are also worth visiting. Along with a restaurant, this hotel has a bar/lounge and spa services. Free continental breakfast, free WiFi in public areas, and free self parking are also provided. Additionally, wedding services, a garden, and a picnic area are onsite. Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. There is no AC, but the temperature at 3500' was much cooler than in the adjacent lowlands so AC was not essential. We went on several birding excursions and found lots of good birds. If you go, Ricardo Miller is an excellent and knowledgeable local guide.

Beautiful property and surroundings but the rooms are very basic and not clean. We had plumbing issues that weren't fixed during our stay and the breakfast was less than desirable. If you only need a place to sleep then it's okay, but very lacking for anything more.

Really nice quiet place to stay in blue mountains it beautiful make sure you bring a sweater or a jacket!!!

Roadway was not good. Need more signage to location.

We arrived at the hotel and the gate was closed. A worker told us, we cant stay since they are doing some renovations. We booked the hotel 6 months ago and paid the full amount before. It was getting dark and the person gave us a dirty room, with bugs on the floor, used dirty shower with hairs and a used rug. No chef was there in the kitchen to prepare dinner. The person made some fish for us. We decided to not stay one night longer after this experience even though we booked and paid 2 nights. Of course we got no refund. We found out that nobody was aware of our coming. We got no apologies at all. We would never recommend staying there!
