Excellent place to stay

Top notch bed and breakfast. We love what David and April have done to restore the beautiful Tom Blake House. They are very welcoming and their attention to detail is second to none. Breakfast was such a treat. Especially as I am coeliac and require a gluten free menu. The room was very comfortable. All in all excellent.

Fantastic experience and stay at Tom Blake House

My wife and I stayed here for three nights recently and had a wonderful time. Our Hosts, David & Avril, were brilliant and made us feel very comfortable. The breakfast's were really good; I never left the breakfast table wanting more. Avril's home-made muesli was very tasty and David's americano's hit the spot every time.
Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated; it was very soothing to relax in it and read...I borrowed a couple of books from your landing library, to be returned in due course. The kitchenette facilities were very good, clean and suitably stocked.
David and Avril made our stay very pleasant and are perfect Hosts, thank you.
Hope to be back soon.

Overnight stay

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Tom Blake’s house. Room was very comfortable and spotless. Guest kitchenette was so handy for a cup of tea when we came in late. Breakfast was delicious, very extensive choice, freshly baked . David and Avril were wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again

Quick break in Kells

This is a lovely guesthouse/B&B, beautifully renovated historic buildings, and with an extraordinary breakfast included. The owners, Tom and Avril, were welcoming, warm, and helpful. They have paid attention to every detail in the room and for breakfast. Loved the cozy throw for a quick nap. The hosts' foodie background was evident with the interesting and delicious breakfast. The cost was reasonable for the value received, and less than the nearby hotel. Also, more interesting and personal.

The place to stay in Kells

This is ‘a home from home’ - Dave, April and Maisie could not have done anything more to improve our stay.
The room and bathroom were clean, spacious with plenty of hot water and a powerful shower.
An excellent choice for breakfast and hot items freshly cooked by Dave - delicious.
There is parking on site with an easy walk to the local pub ‘Jack’s’ where we ate one evening.
We attended a wedding at CLONABREANY House during our stay and took a taxi back to Tom Blake at the end of the evening. The following morning Dave kindly drove us to collect our car - kindness itself.
