The hotel is charming, but the staff is even better. The best place to stay in Ubud. We’ll come back!!

Hotel Monkey Forest
The hotel is centrally located near the Monkey Forest, with plenty of cafes and massage parlors nearby.
The rooms are spacious and clean, but there are large cockroaches—check your belongings!
The outdoor pool is heavily chlorinated and the water is cold; I had no desire to swim in it at all.
Breakfast is made-to-order only—there is no buffet and no fruit; if you arrive after 9 a.m., there is a high risk that most dishes will no longer be available. The breakfast is very meager.
Hotel lunches are poor: the salads are unappetizing, the tomatoes are tasteless and rubbery, and the cucumbers are dry and over-mature. We recommend going to local restaurants for lunch.
Hotel prices exclude taxes and service charges; keep this in mind when ordering.
Overall, the hotel rates an 8 out of 10, excluding the food.
It is a good place to stay if you are just passing through, but it is not suitable for a family vacation.

We are, however, sincerely sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. In particular, we regret that the presence of cockroaches affected your comfort. As a hotel surrounded by lush tropical greenery, we take pest prevention very seriously, and your comments will be shared with our Housekeeping and Engineering teams for further inspection and preventive measures.

Putu and team service the best
Location - accessible to alot. Just traffic though
Athmosphere - so zen and chill. I could just stay at the hotel bu the small pool
Room - not bad. Good enough. Nice ac and bed. Hope tv wouldhave netflix snd youtube.
Value worth it. Especailly putu so awesme he made our itinerary

Noise - its quite at night. 1045pm the bars bot allowed to make noise

This hotel is beautiful! We had a wonderful stay whilst in Ubud. It is extremely clean and comfortable and the room was gorgeous. The pool is lovely and breakfast was wonderful- lots of options & very healthy.
The location was perfect for us, right on the main road and walking distance to everything we wanted to see.
Whilst being on the main road it is still very quiet in the rooms which are situated in natural, beautiful surroundings.
We were able to pay a very reasonable price for an extra bed in our room for our teenage daughter and the room design meant there was privacy for all of us whilst showering and changing.
Room amenities were lovely!
The staff were so welcoming and helpful, special thanks to Adi!
& a huge Thank you to all at Adiwana!!
The location was perfect for us, right on the main road and walking distance to everything we wanted to see.
Whilst being on the main road it is still very quiet in the rooms which are situated in natural, beautiful surroundings.
